Good Day For Me

I had two great workouts and got all my excercises in, including a couple new ones. I feel good about that.

I ate a little more calories than I usually do, but...i think I may have needed to eat a little more. And when I looked at my comparison report, my proteins, carbs and fats were all fairly close.

Maybe I'm starting to get in some good habits. But I do know that I want to study the meal plans some more and look for new combinations of food to eat. I don't think I have that part down pat yet.

I am finally starting to eat better. My protein consumption is up and my carb consumption is down. i don't have enough fats yet, but I've been reading up on that this morning. It should help me. I love the reports on SparkPeople. These are teaching me more about myself and my eating habits than any other program I have been on. And the articles are a plus!

I'm really getting into the exercise habit. Even if it is only 5 minutes at a time, these 5 minute sections really add up! I am hoping the next two weeks are as good and informative as the first two weeks.

  


Best Walk

I think I just took my best walk ever. I picked up the pace and went a little further. I should have done it earlier in the day, but got sidetracked with my computer programs. i really worked up a sweat. I watched the weather when I returned. The weatherman said the temperature combined with the humidity made it feel like 91 out there, No wonder I sweat! Back to walking earlier tomorrow! I want to keep the pace up, though.

I was going through all my emails and reading them. I must have opened one I didn't want to open, because I picked up some kind of virus. Luckily, I was able to do a system restore and this seems to have helped. I will have to insist that my husband buy an anti-virus program.

I am amazed at how much time I spend on the computer now that I belong to SparkPeople. I love reading articles, how others are doing, and keeping track of my nutrition and fitness. This really seems to be a great motivator for me.

It's a new day and I'm trying to begin it on positive note. I'm thinking optimistically, which is good. I took my measurements. The only decrease I had was in my thighs. I'm going to have to study the exercises and see which one I can add. During my excercise workout, I really worked up a sweat this moring. My cool down was cut short by 5 minutes because I was tired. I will sit and chill for a few minutes before going on my outside walk. I'm trying to think of ways to excercise this winter . I will be in a colder climate, so I won't have the advantage of walking outside. So much to think about...
