The Last Long Weekend of the Year

Thursday, December 30, 2010

The last long weekend of the year starts at 4 pm today. My wish for the weekend is to relax a little first. Then, I want to accomplish some organizational tasks around the house. I think if I do this, it will be easier for me to have a clear head for working on my resolutions for having a healthier me - both physically and mentally. I wish everyone a happy new year.

I'm Tired Today

Wednesday, December 29, 2010

I have so much I want to do at home and so little to do at work. I know it's just literally a matter of days before I will be let go at work, so I guess I shouldn't stress too much about the housework. I will have plenty enough time to do the housework then. It's just not the way I want to start the new year.

I am behind on reading your blogs so I just spent the time to catch up. Try to keep positive thoughts about the new year. I will probably be transferred from this job soon and I love it here. We will make the adjustments we need to make and make this a great year. You are doing great on your new work in progress and you are making progress! emoticon

Try to do what needs to be done and let the small stuff be until you have the time to do it. But try to do something each day so you dont get to overwhelemed with a mess. Hopefully you dont get let go at work and things might look up!

Feeling Ambitious Today

Tuesday, December 28, 2010

I had a hard time waking up this morning, but once I got to work, I actually began to feel a bit ambitious. I tried to take my time doing my work, but I still finished it a bit before the end of the day. It was too cold to walk outside at lunch, so I drove to a store and walked around inside at lunch. I walked around another store after work for about an hour.

There's so much I want to do around the house tonight. But I think my list is longer than my time. I did make a list, so I will check off what I do and try to accomplish the rest tomorrow after work. This time of year always gets me in the mood to go through my stuff, take inventory, and get rid of the stuff that I don't need any more. I want to do this with my life choices this year, too. But I know that will be a work in progress and will probably change a couple times during the year.

The New Year is Upon Us

Monday, December 27, 2010

Starting the last workweek of the year, I can't help but to begin to think of the start of the new year coming. I've honestly been pondering what I want to accomplish next year for the past few weeks or so. I've come up with a few things: I want to improve my eating a bit - cut down on the carbs for sure. I want to step up my exercise routine a bit. But I also want to improve myself mentally and to just be an all-around better person. I want to take some classes and find a good, stable job. I want to volunteer more and be involved in my community more. Now, I just have to get the details down. I don't know how much I will accomplish this week. I think it will be more of a "work in progress" as I go along each month. I am hopeful that I can accomplish this.

Hating to See the Weekend End

Sunday, December 26, 2010

I'm really hating to see the weekend coming to an end. I had an incredible weekend spending it with family and friends. And the astonishing part was that I still got in my water, my exercises and my cardio and didn't eat anything I shouldn't have. It can't get better than that.
