I Had A Better Day

My day actually went smoothly so far. No stresses that I can think of. It's kinda scary - I'm so used to having some stress in my life that I'm not sure how to handle it. I guess I just sit back now and enjoy it!

Looking for Energy and Motivation

    I find that exercise always gives me more energy. Go for a walk outside if weather permits. Sunshine is good for us. If the weather is nasty or gloomy, curl up under a blanket with a good book and enjoy.

    I recommend WATER!! I swear, every time I lack energy and motivation, I drink a bunch of water and then.... I feel better...

Try the water and then see how you feel.... Let me know if it helps!

  I kind of woke up the same way.....but I am going to make myself use the treadmill and listen to some tunes because it always seems to make feel energized afterward and then I can move throughout the day like the energizer bunny or so it seems. I also use a pedometer and strive to get 10000 steps in a day and it seems to motivate me also because throughout the day I am always looking at it to see how much farther I have to go to meet 10000 steps then I can log on to that team at the ened of the day and see how many everyone else has done. I felt like at first that I would never make it but one of the team members said take it slow and each day you will step more until 10000 seems like nothing and not to mention walking that many steps gets me pooped out by the time I hit the bed I sleep like a rock!! This has worked for me but may not work for everyone. Good luck on your journey to a healthy lifestyle!!

    I certainly hope that you aren't coming down with a virus. It can be tough on the body at this time of year. Drink lots of liquids and give yourself permission to have a bit of a rest today. Sometimes that helps a lot.

Big Ideas

Every Saturday, I wake up with such grand plans of accomplishing so much. I usually get a few of the things done, but never accomplish everything. Today I have my list made and will cross off what I actually do get done. I will then take stock of the list and decide whether or not I should shift some of these "to-do" items to one day during the week. I might end up with a more balanced schedule because of this.

No Energy Today

Work was absolutely boring today. It was a good thing I brought something to do because I was done with my work before lunch. But it made what little energy I had go out the window. I'm hoping my protein dinner will kick in and give me some energy to do some of my house work.

    Isn't it just amazing how food effects how we feel? I think it's great that you got your work done before lunch!! AND I hope the end of the day was a great protein meal and you got more energy!!

    Look on the bright side... boring is better than stress (just noticing the titles of your other blogs :)) Here's to getting more energy for the weekend ahead... enjoy. Oh and house work makes for good exercise which is an energy builder? I'm still out to lunch on that one LOL!

    It must be in the air lol I have no energy either today. Try to get some house work done though and so will I. Because I find that when things get cluttered I can`t focus on what is really important. This sparkpeople journey! Let nothing get in your way to clutter your mind. Hope this makes sense lol

My Stress is Still Here

I will admit that my stress is less intense, but I still feel it hanging around. I have definitely over-extended myself lately and I think that has a lot to do with it. My daughter offered to take me to the movies,but I still have piles of stuff to do today that I didn't have time for yesterday. I'm willing to pay for at least 7 hours of sleep. After church on Sunday, I will definitely make time to do NOTHING for a couple hours. (Now let's see if I can hold myself to that!)

    Being overwhelmed is one of the culprits of adding stress . Take care of yourself. Take 10 minutes a day before then just for you. emoticon
