I am finding as i draw closer to 40 things are geting harder. Working out is harder.Energy level is less. I know some have to do with me being over weight. i guess having a job that doesn 't require much physical activity plays a part as well. I am seeing i cant eat like i used to. I just don't burn it off. I am really have to think before i eat. I need to think like someone who wants to be smaller.Example i go get food first thing in my head is more is better. when if i would order say a single hamburger and small fry i would be better. Not me let me have a double ,large fry and a large diet coke to balance it out.Thinking before i eat can help me alot. Drinking water and say eating salad instead. I have to stay consist not eat good this week and make up for on the weekend.

Hi Sparkle people!
Week one of pushup and situp challenge went well. I was pretty sore for a couple of days.Started week two yesterday. Seems to be getting easier.Only got one day of walking in this weekend.Rain kept me indoors most of the time. Really don't have an excuse. I have a tread mill. I just don't like walking and not going anywhere.This weeks goals eat healther and get more walking in.

Hi all ! I started the pushup challenge yesterday. Today I'm starting the situp challenge.I like a challenge. I used to love to workout. As i have gotten older i haven't done it as much.I'm 38 when i look in the mirror i don't like what i see. So I started walking last fall. Then i tried jogging.I did to much to soon and hurt my right knee. So i was stuck with walking on a knee that hurt all the time. Well winter came. Here in Georgia we finally had a cold winter. So i didn't do much of anyhing. Three weeks ago it started to get warmer.I'm back walking.I tried a little jogging Sunday knee held out pretty good.A buddy of mine posted where he was starting the pushup challenge. I thought i would try it to.I'm pretty sore today. Today we start sit up challenge. If anyone knows of any other challenges send them my way.I think i will give updates weekly on my progress.

Food Evil Foe

I had a pretty good weekend. Not on the dieting front. This time of year all these fairs and festivals. Some of my favorite foods are there. I gave in and had some of them. I could tell when i got on the scales. Now i will diet real hard get back to where i was. Only problem is I am maintaining a weight that puts me about 40 pounds over weight. If i was down to my goal weight and gained three pounds. That would be ok. So i have lost over 20 pounds only to take it off and put it right back on. Now i am stuck with only being down about 5 pounding am really not making any head way. I need to be more disciplined.I do good for a while. Then off the dieting wagon i go.

I weighed this morning . I was down to 201. That's seven pounds .Now i have to just keep on going.Really must get in cardio this weekend.So my plans are to hit that pretty hard. Have a good weekend all.
