Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!

The fishermen are home...........with lots of fish to contribute to many healthy meals this summer and (the devil made me say this ) my husband, who has lost in 3 months or less, what it took me almost 10 months to lose, gained 3 pounds during his trip, AND I finally left my plateau behind, AND lost 2 pounds while he was gone!!!!! Life is good!!!
Now I feel guilty about the enjoyment I got from his gain, but I also know that he will lose those 3# in the next day or 2. I admit to Male Metabolism Envy!!!

I've seen women with muscles and while I don't like the look of those in body building contests, I do envy the athletic types that seem to be chisled by Michaelangelo himself. I would settle for a metabolism that would shed a pound when I gave up 3500 calories. Instead I have one that says : "oh...were cutting back....okay, I'll just slow down for you". grrrrh! I have to cheer with you!!!! You lost 2 lbs!!! I do know how you feel about the male metabolism, they have no idea how difficult it is for us to take off the same amount of weight. Jack Daniel's Fishing Story

My husband is on a fishing trip with his brothers this week. I wonder if he has ever had THIS experience?????

I went fishing this morning but after a short time I ran out of worms. Then I saw a cottonmouth with a frog in his mouth. Frogs are a good bass bait. Knowing the snake couldn't bite me with the frog in his mouth, I grabbed him right behind the head, took the frog, and put it in my bait bucket.

Now, the dilemma was how to release the snake without getting bit. So, I grabbed my bottle of Jack Daniels and poured a little whiskey in its mouth. His eyes rolled back, he went limp. I released him into the lake without incident and carried on fishing using the frog.

A little later, I felt a nudge on my foot. There was that same snake with two more frogs in his mouth..............

I do know some fishermen that would be prepared to do just that. Maybe that is what I have to do with the big snakes that seem to like my front steps and flower gardens. (not this year yet). Maybe if I share some Southern Comfort with them they will go limp. Really don't want to get that close to them OR share my Southern Comfort!! Hope the brothers are having a good trip together!! Problem Receiving Emails?????

For the past few days, I have had the following problem:
I usually receive the 6 daily emails like Recipe, Exercise, Best of Spark People, Health and Wellness, etc..
Now I receive one or two and sometimes they are dated the day before.

I am NOT receiving any emails from members who are responding to my Blog or commenting on my Feed........no member emails at all.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem? If so, have you heard why this is happening or how soon it will be fixed?

This should make you smile. You have to love little kids.
LIFESAVERS

The children began to identify the flavors by their color:
Red..........Cherry
Yellow..........Lemon
Green..........Lime
Orange..........Orange

Finally the teacher gave them all HONEY lifesavers. None of the children could identify the taste.

The teacher said, "I will give you all a clue. It's what your mother may sometimes call your father."

One little girl looked up in horror, spit her Lifesaver out and yelled, "Oh my Gosh! They're #@%-holes!"

The teacher had to leave the room!!!
