Are any of you dog lovers? We have always had some kind of pet. We started with chameleons, had several types of birds, many cats, raised West Highland White Terriers for several years, and currently have an Australian Terrier and a Cairn Terrier. I call our Cairn Terrier my Diet Dog because we can NEVER go for a walk (it is always a run; of sorts). He is also good for lowering my blood pressure, because if I am stressed about anything, he seems to sense it and crawls up on my lap as if to say, "Just pet me, and you will feel better," and I do. And last of all, (and not best) is that he is very curious. I made a dessert for company, had it on the dining room table, (way too close to the edge) and he ran into the house at full speed (my husband was sighting in his rifle and Mik hates the sound of gun shots) smelled the dessert and put on the brakes (too late) hit the table and the dessert crashed to the floor. He knew I didn't really need that dessert!!! It is said that people with pets are usually healthier........Now I know why!!!
