Today isn't as CRAZY BUSY as yesterday was, but there is still a lot to do. This morning I caught up with my laundry and managed to give our DDog a haircut. This is a job that I don't mind, but our Cairn Terrier HATES it. I think that what he really has a problem with is the sound of the shaver. He definitely shies away from motor noises at all levels. Anyway, I finally finished, and he doesn't look half bad. He is a smart little guy and I think that he has figured out that if he cooperates, the dreaded cutting won't last as long. Yaaaay!!!!! When I am finished Sparking, I want to make a batch of Sugar Cookie dough and put it in the refrigerator to chill while we are at Elizabeth's Christmas concert tonight. We have to be there around 6 in order to reserve a place to sit. Our son is in Minnesota for a business meeting and won't make it to the concert, so we will be in charge of taping it for him. Elizabeth has a speaking part and will be singing two songs, so is really excited!!! She and Nola had supper with us last night, and when she left with her Mom around 8 PM, she ran back to the house and hugged both my DH and me, and told us that she was SO GLAD that we were coming to her concert. It means so much to children to be able to look out into the audience and spot their families looking so proud. She has learned to sign and always signs I LOVE YOU before the music and speaking starts. I love being a Grandmother just as much as I love being a mother..........maybe even a bit more. Those of you who are Grandparents will know exactly what I mean.
I hope you are having a great day.
