Well, I had a fabulous time on our brief get-away, but the diet did not fare so well. It seems once I tell myself that it is ok to eat a treat, I can't stop myself there. But today is a new day and I will stick to the plan . I so wanted a bowl of oatmeal today, but that is not part of my plan. Yea, I know it is healthy and could fit in my diet, but I have to stick to what I set out to do. (Now just talking about it, I realize I really wanted to have that bowl of oatmeal with butter and brown sugar on top...not so very healthy!) Anyway, just stepping back and giving myself some time to make wise food choices is a good thing. Perhaps I should do that more often! My goal is to lose 10 lbs this month.
