He couldn't decide if he wanted to introduce himself to the world or hang out until the 12th. Had to nudge him a bit, or he would have had us running back and forth to the hospital for the next 2 weeks. LOL

It's Halloween time!!

Saturday, October 01, 2011

It's October already, I love October, Autumn and the best part Halloween is here. WE always go out for Halloween, kids love to trick or treat here. We dress up and scare them. LOL It's a blast. Going to take out all decorations this week and begin the transformation. We are also going to have a party this year (adult). And I have already bought my costume. Going to have a blast this week. I promise to post pictures when it is all done.

Stepping out of my comfort zone.........

Friday, September 30, 2011

Ok, I have a whole lot of butterflies going on right now. On Monday I start a zumba class, I am really excited about this. Being in rural Oklahoma, I never imagined we would have one in our area. But for me, I have never gone to an exercise class...a bit intimidating, I have zumba dvd's and can zumba here in the sanctuary of my own home. And I do, this is a way for me to put myself out there. I am going to be in a class of strangers, possibly some old high school people. So it is really making me nervous. I hope I don't back out...........any ideas out there on how I can tone down the nerves?

If you already know how to Zumba, you'll probably be the best one there!! I bet you'll have loads of fun once you get there!

The first class is the worst - just push yourself to go. It gets better after that. Everyone feels (or has felt) the same way as you - and the rest of the class is there for the same reason as you - nothing to be embarrassed or intimidated about. After the first class, you will have a group of new friends. Enjoy and have fun!

I am with ya on this one! I'm a home body and a loner and I like it that way. Well, most of the time. I would try to think in terms of everybody is there for the same reasons and having FUN is one of them! emoticon
