Holiday'sFriday, September 04, 2009The last holiday of the summer is here and most people will be cooking out and celebrating with family and friends. I too will be with family and friends but I have done something different during this summers cookouts. On this journey to better health I have learned the necessity of good planning. You have to keep in mind that this was very hard for me. I have always been a "shoot from the hip type" of person as my wife calls it. For the most part I have been very good at going with the flow, but I have now learned that if I want better health I must plan ahead. I now make sure that there is plenty of good choices for me to make on the things I will eat at the cookouts and stay away from the unhealthy foods. It is not always easy but with a little planning and some determination I have had good success. This change in me eating pattern has also shown me my need to plan all areas of my life. Being prepared for all possibilities will help us to make good choices and to succeed in life, Have a great holiday to all. ![]()

How I love reading of your progress! Awareness. Then action. More awareness. Now.. planning. Ah yes, planning! Funny how we keep evolving in this transition of lifestyle... I suspect that gaining control of these seemingly small habits frees us for what we know to be important, allows us to focus better. Yes. Planning is the next step. Lifestyle. Kinda kewl, isn't it?! As we travel this path called life we are often reminded how short life is. A friend of mine lost his 18 year old son in an auto accident Tuesday afternoon. Please be praying for the Larmon family. Also remember in your busy schedule to take time to tell those you love how much they mean to you. We can do everything to get in good health but that does not promise to us a long life. Learn to make the most of every day that God gives to us and to share a little joy with those around us. Also be sure that you are ready to stand before the Lord when that day comes. If you have not prepared for that day why not do it now. If you don't know how it is as simple as A B C. Admit your sin, Believe in Jesus as God's son, and Confess your sin to HIm and ask for His forgiveness.

They will be in my prayers. I truly wish that no parent would have to go through the immense pain of losing a child, but, it's all part if a bigger plan. We need to believe and live each day to the fullest. •´¸.•´¨) ¸.•*¨) (¸.•´ .•´ ¸¸..•¨¯`-:¦: *Life is what you make of it... -:¦:-•:*'*:•.•:*'*:•-:¦:- -:... ¦:-•:*'*:• Make each day count!•:*'*:•-:¦:- . .(¯`´¯) .`•.¸.•´... ¸.
