Weighing in

I find I do better if I weigh in a couple of times a week instead of just once. I compete with the scale for that extra three or four onces I lose during these time. But I only record the weigh-in SparkPeople weight on the one day. This gives me an additional goal to work for as I weigh on Fridays. Does anyone else do this and find it helpful.

    Just read your blog, and yes I do weigh myself a couple of times during the week. I don't want it to become an obsession, but it helps me compete as well with the scale and what I am doing during the week. Have a GR8 day! Linda

Water

I drink two or three cups of coffee first thing in the morning. Then I alternate coffee and water and work up to just water by 11:00 a.m. One of the first things I do on Spark Points is spin the wheel and report water. I only include clear water in my count, not coffee or any other drinks. I limit my sodas to one or two every other week or so. Not many at all. This has been one of my "good" healthy habits I've developed since starting SparkPeople. Hang in there.

I am going to try a bigger lunch to see if that will help me cut down on calories at dinner. Will do for 1 week and see if that helps and to see if I can acomplish this for weight lost.

    Try higher in fiber foods, like whole grains, beans and raw veggies. Hope it helps.
It keeps me fuller during the day and I don't eat as much in the evenings.
