I've done better than I thought

In April, measurements:
Chest 39 1/2
Waist 37 1/2
Hips 43

Today, August 5th
Chest 38
Waist 36 1/2
Hips 41

I really didn't realize that I had lost this much. It's small amounts, but I will take it. Clothes were fitting better but I didn't really realize I had done so good.
Measurements are a good way to measure progress and I am happy I've been keeping up with it. I hope all you Sparkers have a good day and remember to get in some FUN!!!

    I took the BW to the urgent care center - allergic reaction with hives all over her body. We're about to relax a little how (finally). The rest of the day will be quiet.

No appointments today, GOOD

Seems like I have had an abundant amount of appointments lately. I do have one tomorrow, two Tuesday, and WW class Wed, Thurs, and Fri. I was hoping things would slow down a bit in August, but nothing doing. Then next weekend is going to be spent with my daughter and granddaughter and grandson. SO maybe I can survive until then. Clarifying the physcial

Yesterday I blogged about getting physical. I really meant it was time for my doctor to do my yearly physical exam. I had a clean bill of health and will do the preventive test such as mammo, bone density, etc.
Weight Watchers went well this morning. I had lost my usual .8 (nearly a pound), so I was happy. I have just learned to accept that I lose slowly so I must be patient and the losses will come. How's your weigh ins going? Have a great August 1. Keep Sparking.

    Good you are getting your routine medical care. And fantastic that you are losing weight! .8 per week adds up to 42 pounds a year. Very, very significant. Hooray for you!

    I'm getting my first ever physical done next month, just to make sure everything is okay. I'm a little nervous because I'm only 20 and have never had to do exams like mammograms, smears or bone density. Glad to read to clean bill of health!

    It's a long haul. With setbacks, it nook me about seven years to get it all off, but I have beeen stable for more than five years now - at my goal weight, or plus three to minus seven pounds.

    I was intrigued by your recently completed physical; I've got one coming up in about a month. Coming in with greatly improved blood pressure and glucose levels is a big goal for me, with weight loss a close 3rd. I'm glad your exam went well.
I also have found that I'm slowly loosing weight and that's okay, because I'm keeping at it. The exercise part is fairly new for me, but I look forward to that getting easier.
