    Congratulations!
Her mane and tail are awful light for buckskin, I'd be thinking like you and say Red Dun or Dunalino, depending on just how light. Hard to tell in pictures.
She sure is cute. emoticon

Shes very solid. These pics she is one hour old, so might be hard to tell, She is doing awesome and the pics just don't do her justice. She is pretty tall, her hip hits my hip at 5'6 and the hips are nice and big like her mama. Great dun characteristics. dun stripe, zebra markings on legs. emoticon

Almost to onederland. I think?

Sunday, March 15, 2009

Today got on the scale and it read 200.0. I hoping this is a true weight. Sometimes my body goes at a lower weight and then decides it's not ready for it goes up before it comes back down. I know this sounds kinda kooky but this is what happens to me.

My goodness Melody...you are just melting away! I'm so happy for you. It's always encouraging that some people (such as yourself) have metabolisms that work with you. That's just wonderful...soon to be onederful! LOL

Keep up the good work! WOOHOO!

God I love to sweat!

Saturday, March 07, 2009

I've been exercising at the gym for about 3 months now. I was on the treadmill and have been going at a pace of 4.0 miles an hour. One of the trainers said "you seem to be pretty comfortable at that speed. Why don't you increase a little bit so I did to 4.4 miles an hour." It felt comfortable cardio wise. I was able to talk with ease still my little legs had a hard time keeping up and then he said "why don't you try running"?? I haven't really ran since last november when I got so short of breath I just said "forget it". I started jogging, it was okay so I ended up increasing til it felt more comfortable at 4.8 miles an hour. I did this for about 15 minutes before I felt I needed to stop. I haven't ran like this in over 25 years. When I was done with the running/walking on the treadmill after 40 min I was soaked(hair was dripping). God I love to sweat!!!!

Hmmm, isn't that what is commonly referred to as the "RUNNERS RUSH"? emoticon

Somehow it makes runners feel some kind of innate 'high' from all that exertion!

I'd never know...so I have to ask...

Keep up the good work, Melody; I wondered what you were doing to lose all that weight so fast! Woohoo! Obviously it works!

I'm streakin with exercise!

Friday, February 27, 2009

Sometimes the weight does not come off like you want it too. I know some will say so you lost 35 lbs in almost 4months that's a big achievement! I am steadily losing, though this week it is at a standstill. Yesterday I went to the gym and they took my measurements for a program I am participating in that started 6 weeks ago, well I've lost 9% of my body fat. I have noticed a bit of a difference in my clothes, have more energy. Exercise has always been hard for me even when I was thin, looking at my spark streaks I realized I have exercised consitantly at least 3x week(some weeks a lot more) for 9 weeks . I actually look forward to going to the gym these days!
Woohoo! I think I am doing it!
