So I was doing the trivia today and came across a question about does eating after 7pm make your body store most of it as fat? Well I said yes and surprise I was WRONG! I even made my own message board about this! I don't get off work until 11PM so this was a big concern of mine and previously I wasn't sure how detrimental it was for me to eat when I get home since I don't go to bed until 2AM. This is what the results said:
It's a myth that eating late will make you gain weight. Your body doesn't know what time it is when you eat, and it metabolizes all calories the same way, regardless of the time of day they are eaten. There is no real concern with eating late or close to bedtime, unless you find it disrupts your sleep or makes you feel a sick when you lie down to go to bed.
