Just get dressed!

It was my day off yesterday and I was bound and determined to work out, Even more so after watching Tomb Raider that morning, man I want those legs! So as I sat there and thought about working out I decided I would just get dressed for it cause that doesn't mean I have to go. After I put on my only pair of tennis shoes (I'm a heels or flip flops girl) I decided I would really feel dumb if I continued to watch TV in my sports bra and shorts. My idea worked! I went worked out for a whole hour! So next time I'm not going to focus on the workout, I'm just gonna get up and get dressed! emoticon

Tomorrow Morning

As I lay in bed tonight I start to plan tomorrow morning. I WILL get up early and go workout, after I'll go swimming and then lay out. I will make myself a healthy breakfast and will be ready to go to work, ON TIME. I try to let myself feel what it will be like to finish my morning routine. The sense of accomplishment nourishes my motivation. Tomorrow will be different I can already taste it.

Lack of Motivation

I have no motivation. I was woken up early from a guy wanting to buy a fish tank I put online yesterday. I stayed up for a bit waiting for him and contemplated going to the pool to lay out and maybe take a dip. After he left I decided just to go back to sleep. I'm sleeping away my life. I work from 1 - 9:30 and I don't wake up til 11 or later. I hate it but I'm the only one holding myself back.

So after gaining about 20 lbs after getting my wisdom teeth taken out I have finally decided to start working out again. I am super determined to do all I can to feel as good as I can about myself. I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself and not being able to fit into any of my clothes. My goal is to lose those 20 pounds by the end of the year, if not more. If I don't I have to get rid of some of the clothes if not, New Wardrobe!

Small steps. Track your food, add a bit of exercise, you will be on your way.

Surprise!

So I was doing the trivia today and came across a question about does eating after 7pm make your body store most of it as fat? Well I said yes and surprise I was WRONG! I even made my own message board about this! I don't get off work until 11PM so this was a big concern of mine and previously I wasn't sure how detrimental it was for me to eat when I get home since I don't go to bed until 2AM. This is what the results said:

It's a myth that eating late will make you gain weight. Your body doesn't know what time it is when you eat, and it metabolizes all calories the same way, regardless of the time of day they are eaten. There is no real concern with eating late or close to bedtime, unless you find it disrupts your sleep or makes you feel a sick when you lie down to go to bed.
