Back on track

It's been over a year since I've had the real stick in my head 24/7 I can say no to junk food motivation. I can happily say that I've got it back! I get excited to try the new healthy recipes I've found. Today I had 2 huge yummy tacos for lunch that were packed with fresh vegetable, a little chicken, and a little creamy jalapeno dressing for flavor that came out to less than 450 calories. I'm not tracking anything really because that takes time, and that is something I don't have near enough of, but I am being conscious of it when I'm deciding what I'll have for snacks or meals and try to keep an estimate in my head so I know I don't go to crazy by the end of the day. I have spent over an hour excersing the last 3 days and can't wait to get back to it again tonight! My goal is to start waking up earlier and try to excersise in the morning but I'm really not a morning person. I can't wait to see where I'm at in 6 months. Just so I have a reminder where I was at this time. I know it's not the best but I will be a lot better soon.

My anwer is maybe it can. Everyone that gains weight has to work to make it get on. We eat, and eat some more. We work on being lazy and making our lives miserable. We eat until we are so full we can't do anything but lay around watching tv, then out of boredom reach for that bag of potato chips. We work to make our lives something we really don't want it to be but don't bother changing our mindset. Instead of letting my body work to get more weight on I'm going to work to get it to come off just as easy... Instead of reaching for a soda in the mornings I have cold water already in bottles ready to add caffeine and flavor with just a squeeze of a bottle. Instead of working to eat a 1200 calorie meal I will work to eat a 300 calorie meal that is full of flavor and leaves me happy with myself instead of depressed and miserable. Just changing those 2 factors will make the weight come off. Now adding in the exercise is a little harder but not too much. I can still watch tv while riding my exercise bike. I can play the Kinect with my kids for family night instead of just watching movies or playing board games. The hardest part about weight coming off is my mindset that I will be missing out on something when the fact is that I am gaining so much more by changing it. My goal is to be the proof that weight can come off just as easy as it goes on.

How many ways do I waste time that could be spent making myself healthier?

1) I have been setting my alarm for 5:00 every morning so I can get up and workout before going to work but I keep hitting snooze and sleeping until 6:30
2) I play on the computer at night before going to bed
3) When I do have time during the early evening I tell myself I will workout later and either turn on the tv or read a book

These are 3 of the things that became obvious to me... I will start working on these even if its just a ten minute quick cardio to get my blood flowing. Every calorie burned is one step closer to another pound gone!!!

Challenge to myself

So much time has been wasted since I've been active on SP. I have gained back some weight, started eating junk again, and just feel like crap. I am giving myself a goal to get everything back on track and to lose at least 6 pounds by Dec. 31. That is my end of year resolution!!! I want to get healthy again. I feel the difference. I refuse to go back to being a fat girl....

Goodbye to 3 more pounds

I love the way it feels knowing I have accomplished something. I don't always track everything on here but I do keep track of what I eat. My working out and walking doesn't normally get tracked period. I can sit and look at myself and see that my hands are a lot smaller than they used to be, my feet have slimmed a lot, and my double chin is pretty much gone. I still have nasty flab on the back of my arms, legs, and stomach but I know that soon that will be gone too.
