My new goal! I've been MIA for a while now. Weight keeps creeping up :(. I decided I want to lose at least 30 pounds by the time I turn 30! That gives me just a little under 7 months. If I can lose more by then - great! I know it's not going to be easy - especially with my depression and emotional eating. I just have to keep my eyes on the prize! Look ahead and not behind. I got up to 170. That is soo depressing. Today my morning weight was 167.2. I am glad to see the numbers start to go down no matter how small. I intend to do the elliptical today and maybe take the cellophane off of Jillian Michael's "No More Trouble Zones" We'll see :). Already starting on my water too. Maybe this time will actually be THE time.

It's been a while

And I've been doing a whole lot of nothing. Hit another all time high - weight wise so that was depressing. I need to get back on track - especially with this nice weather now. I did do my elliptical today and have drank 50 ounces of water so that is good!! Hoping I can actually just get to this and stick with it!

    It is soooo easy to get off track. I'm basically in the same situation as you are. I kicked myself in the but and am turning over another leaf. Good luck with yours.

Well today I did my exercise and drank my water, I did have one extra pepsi though. That is going to be the toughie for me I know! Here's to tomorrow!

    Way to go!!

But seriously, kick that Pepsi stuff to the curb. It's doing NOTHING for you except putting a sweet, syrupy taste in your mouth and emptying your wallet. Plain old ice-water is MUCH more refreshing. Every now and then I'll have some soda water mixed half and half with grapefruit juice (and ice) but mostly I just stick with the ice water. I keep a huge cup with me at all times.

Yes I did all 4 goals that I set for today. Only 1 pepsi, OVER 8 glasses of water, 30 minutes elliptical and here I am reporting back! I'd like to set the same 4 goals for tomorrow!

Yeah, I'm having quite a difficult time getting this journey going in the right direction. Bought the healthy food for today, set it as my goal, but whoops! Nothing happened. I feel like a broken record, I keep saying the same things over and over, with no follow through action to back up the words!

Okay I'll try again.

For the 100th time - I am going to start tomorrow! Small goals and small steps

I will allow myself 1 pepsi - NO more!
I will drink 8 glasses of water
I will do my elliptical for 30 minutes
I will come back here at the end of the evening to say whether or not I did follow through!!
