Count Your Blessings
Count your blessings instead of your crosses;
Count your gains instead of your losses.
Count your smiles instead of your tears;
Count your courage instead of your fears.
Count your health instead of your wealth;
Love your neighbor as much as yourself.
I received this poem inside a get well card today. It was a nice surprise from a friend of 20 years. The coolest part is that it is etched on a silver bracelet, one of those eternity bracelets that twist so the words never end. Cathy knows that this cup half full message is my philosophy, as it is hers. So while I am not often a rhymey poem sort of girl I had to make this #11.
