Today was my first day when I started to count calories. I love it! I know , how many calories and how many nutrients in my food! Today we ate out of home and I did not know how much calories was in my food, so no more eating out without calories information. I walked today a little and drink two glasses of water before breakfast!

Ten lepers were healed, but only one came to thank the Lord. Isn’t there generally a similar proportion of people who are grateful after receiving benefactions from the Lord? Who has not received good things; or, rather, what do we have in us, or what ever happens to us that is not good for us? Even so, is everyone grateful to God, and does everyone give thanks for everything? There are even those who permit themselves to ask, “Why did God give us existence? It would be better for us not to exist.” God gave you existence so that you would be in eternal bliss; He gave you existence as a gift, as a gift He has furnished you with every means for attaining eternal bliss. The job depends on you: you need only to labour a bit for this. You say, “But I have only sorrows, poverty, diseases, misfortunes.” Well, these are also some of the ways to attain eternal bliss. Be patient. Your entire life is less than a moment compared with eternity. Even if you had to suffer unceasingly your entire life, against eternity it is nothing; and you still have moments of consolation. Do not look at the present, but at what is prepared for you in the future, and concern yourself with making yourself worthy of that; then you will not notice the sorrows. They will all be swallowed up by unquestioning hope in eternal consolations, and your lips will never cease to utter thanks.

Without counting calories is not possible for me to lose and keep the weight.
One month is over, and I lost a few pounds, kept it and then started to pick weight again.
During this month I ate almost vegan, no sugar, no any gluten products.
I noted I can not eat corn and have a little allergy to fish.
I did my A1C test, and it is 5.2.
Counting calories is to lose and keep weight. Counting calories is when you manage your food, but not food manages you! emoticon

Sometimes I am doing fine with fish, may be it is depends from what kind of fish I ate.

    Sad about the small allergy to fish. Make sure it's FISH that's the problem, not something in the fish (ie, make sure you're eating clean fish that's fully cooked and low-mercury), because fish is amazing!

Do be careful though- because food managing you can happen without OR with counting calories! Counting "portions" sometimes is better if you start falling into the Calorie Trap. Good for you for having that month without added sugar!

I cannot start count calories, in these days when I do not count calories I will not eat after 3 o’clock, just to be sure not to overtake more calories, and keep losing weight! Discipline!
I will also write and put my picture everyday!

    Before i got obsessive about tracking calories, I used to write everything in a food journal. Maybe that is a better route?

    How do you know if you are eating enough? It is not good to skip. I was only eating once sometimes twice a day and I kept gaining. Good luck.

I am tired to see the same weight everyday!
I have 6 things to do EVERYDAY to lose weight seriously::
-TO PRAY
-NO FOOD AFTER 6 P.M.
-TO WATCH EVERYTHING I EAT: NO MORE THAN1200-1300
-TO MOVE 60 MINUTES
- TO DRINK 8 GLASSES OF WATER
- TO BE BUSY (NOT LAZY:))

P.S. One week let me lose 16 lb in past with the same plan.

Today my scales shows me 249 lb, what is 10 pounds lighter than it was 26 of November! So now I am in "240 and some more pounds" stage:)
