Special Ops BLC21

I am feeling exhausted, sick and tired. However I still feel in a good mood. This has affected my exercising habits. Today I tried to get in more water. This is my special ops for Saturday.

Yesterday I posted about the audit and the stress so I consider my special ops done for friday too. I've been trying to get through work and get home and rest so that I can get some fitness in tomorrow.

Don't feel like myself when I am not able to get my spark on!

This week has been rough. We had the unfortunate luck to get the toughest internal auditor. She was not very pleasant the last time around. This time she is better but definitely still hard! I've been working like 13 hours every day this week. Can't wait for her to leave today.

I haven't had time to exercise this week except for once. I missed saying good bye to my favorite class instructor and I missed my kettlebell class I paid extra for. Argh. :(

Any ways I gotta run to work now.

Wedding stuff: taste testing

I am having both my ceremony and reception at the above link in case any of you were interested. Tonight we went to taste some entrees and cake!!! Definitely going with the glazed Cornish hen and some champagne cake with raspberry filling.

I'm kind of a nut because I was disappointed that I missed cardio dance!! Should've planned better... Between work, grad school, family...oh wait... ;) lol. It was nice night though with randy. My belly hurts though!!!

On the bright side: I think the scale evened out (at least prior to this evenings extravagance). I've been watching my sodium and drinking lots of water.

Nonscale victory:
Running thirty min on the treadmill nonstop. It must've been mental before because now that I set the 5k goal and talked to a trainer, I didn't have any problems doing it.

Coming in 3rd for weight loss in camo team!!

Things I'm thankful for:
Cameron's stomach feeling better.
That I didn't gain two lbs last week. (Tonight may be a different story)
Being able to get back to school
That I decided to take advantage of a 3 day weekend and not go into work. I needed the break

BLC21 Plan for Success

Goals for BLC21:

Start/Continue a fitness streak. Weekly exercise goal of: at least 300 exercise minutes on average. To do so I am taking 1-2 exercise classes M-Thu, Sat. On Friday and Sunday I will do fitness on my own.

Lose at least 10lbs. (My specific goal was 12lbs for the challenge at a lb loss per week. Hopefully this is realistic because I am finding that in the 150's, its getting harder and harder to lose the numbers I was losing prior).

I'd like to get down one size. I am already fitting better into clothes and would like to see the momentum continue.

I want to train for a 5k and be able to run one comfortably by the time I'm done with this challenge. For now I don't have a time goal, but perhaps that will change the further I train.

Avoid diseases and injury to my body.
I want to demonstrate good health to my family.
Have healthy pregnancy(ies) in the future.
Looking good in the dress is a good motivator as well. ;)
Make lasting fun memories with a happy/healthy family.

Specific Plans:
I will work out at least 6 days a week.
I will mind what I am eating but leave at least one day where I am not so strict.
This week I plan on doing ST during my "down" days.
Get 8 glasses of water in at least.
I log on daily with spark for the motivation.
Change things up in another two weeks to keep things fresh.
I might have to start rewarding myself for every 2.5 lbs loss at this point so that there is not so much of a gap in between. I am undecided on this yet.

Weight Gain

This was only a .8 gain since last saturday. I think maybe I'm stuck in a plateau. Although it IS up two pounds from wednesday.

I have been a little bit more relaxed with my eating over the last two days and yesterday I had fajitas. *whispers* I'm also having a monthly female problem too as well. So it also may be water weight. Who knows. I did increase my calories with the working out so maybe the increase is too much. I will have to adjust this week and see if that makes a difference.

*sigh* A bit frustrating after all my hard work although I do know it will come back down eventually.

I will overcome this short blip in the road guys. I'm not even worried!!!!

    Girl you have done so well and it is probably the exercise or whatever... and great don't worry about it, as you say no need to and hey worrying wont change it, exercise, healthy eating now thats what you are doing and it will eventually work. ( telling myself that too!) HUGS

    I've been there and I'm sure quite a few others. When your weight starts to get lower, I believe under 160 it starts to get a little harder as you go along to lose it. But you're right, it could just be water weight and since it is that "time" of the month, then that could definitely have something to do with it. Just emoticon , emoticon !!!

Good attitude. It sucks but... I know for me sometimes I have 0 loss and then the next week a big loss. Keep following your healthy eating guidelines and exercise plan and listening to your body. You're doing great!!!
