Goals for BLC21:
Start/Continue a fitness streak. Weekly exercise goal of: at least 300 exercise minutes on average. To do so I am taking 1-2 exercise classes M-Thu, Sat. On Friday and Sunday I will do fitness on my own.
Lose at least 10lbs. (My specific goal was 12lbs for the challenge at a lb loss per week. Hopefully this is realistic because I am finding that in the 150's, its getting harder and harder to lose the numbers I was losing prior).
I'd like to get down one size. I am already fitting better into clothes and would like to see the momentum continue.
I want to train for a 5k and be able to run one comfortably by the time I'm done with this challenge. For now I don't have a time goal, but perhaps that will change the further I train.
WHY? = FAMILY
Avoid diseases and injury to my body.
I want to demonstrate good health to my family.
Have healthy pregnancy(ies) in the future.
Looking good in the dress is a good motivator as well. ;)
Make lasting fun memories with a happy/healthy family.
I will work out at least 6 days a week.
I will mind what I am eating but leave at least one day where I am not so strict.
This week I plan on doing ST during my "down" days.
Get 8 glasses of water in at least.
I log on daily with spark for the motivation.
Change things up in another two weeks to keep things fresh.
I might have to start rewarding myself for every 2.5 lbs loss at this point so that there is not so much of a gap in between. I am undecided on this yet.
