Building momentum and consistency on getting freggie servings in. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I need convenience when I eat. (which is how I gained weight originally due to all the fast food runs). However, now I am planning healthy meals to throw together, and healthy snacks.
Perfect (for me) freggie snacks:
1) apples (not messy, throw in your bag, and your set)
2) Mini sweet peppers (not messy, crunchy, and i can eat them without needing dressing)
3) pomegranate seeds (messy to get out, but once you get them out, put them in a container, and grab a handful here and there - so many antioxidants!!!)
4) grape tomatoes (easy to pop some into your mouth and go!)
I'm eating for nutrition now. Its not chocolate, or pizza, or whatever other food you may indulge in, but its healthy for my body and convenient. It also a great way I have found to add variety to my diet since I eat the same breakfast every morning and in general eat the same kind of lunch (a lean cusine or something of the sort).
If freggies have been a struggle for you, I suggest trying to find snacks of convenience. Focus on convenience and mix it up.
On a side note: you will see a great change to your poop! I don't know why it fascinates me so, but it does. An apple a day (sometimes two) makes you really regular!!! (try it and see if you have problems; i've challenged people at work to do so and they have noticed a difference).
The increase in freggies means an increase in fiber. Fiber helps you to feel full, soften your stool and shorten time food spends through your GI. It can help fight fat absorption in your body! And past all that scientific jargon...it helps you POOP which will make you feel good! (at least I always do afterwards). Sometimes you will also notice different colors in your poop...that doesn't have any particular weight loss benefit other than, it adds some variety to your life .
So in conclusion, eat your freggies people because you will LOVE them...or at the very least you will POOP and a lot.
