Off my routine

Being home has been nice, but has thrown me off my routine. Which has led to some eating that I didn't plan on. *Sigh* I've been beating myself up over it too. I've broken all my rules: I've weighed myself every day, I've beaten myself up, AHHH. LOL. Any ways, I am shaking my own self and telling myself to get over it and move on.

I'm still losing weight, I'm still living a healthier lifestyle, and I am happier. That is all that matters. :)

My plan today is to keep busy and clean up around my house. That should definitely increase my fitness minutes.

I still have one more family thanksgiving to go (thankfully its Sunday, after weigh in). Then I travel for work Monday-Thursday. Then saturday we have our work's Christmas party. *Sigh* This is going to be a rough month or two. But I will get through it.

Things I'm proud of:
Remaining positive.
Still losing weight.
Setting a good example for my family.

Things I'm thankful for:
Drinking a nice cup of coffee and being able to blog.
My sparkfriends.
My family.
My cat for waking me up at 7am this morning, because apparently he knew I needed a jump start to my Saturday... :-p
My Mother in law for randomly stopping by whenever she wants; it motivated me to stay on the treadmill last night despite feeling really unmotivated initially. :)

Lots of things to be thankful for!

I ate small portions, but I ate more than I intended and overshot my caloric range. However, I went for a walk early in the morning and also late in the evening. So I feel a little better about overshooting. Its only one day, and tomorrow I will be back on track.

Things I'm thankful for:
Nice weather today-it made the walks very enjoyable.
Nice day spent with family.
The dogs being relatively behaved as both Randy and I sit on the couch.
My cats.
My snapping turtle.
This weekend off.
Relaxing at home with randy by ourselves tonight.

Continual Decrease!

I went for a run tonight and decided to push myself to beat time yesterday and also to run for longer consecutive time periods. I went approximately the same distance 2.62 miles, and shaved 46 seconds off my average pace - 11:39 min/mi!!!

I am also off of work until I have to travel next week monday!!! And won't be back in the center until next friday!!!!

Nonscale victories today:
46 seconds off my average pace!
Looked at myself in the mirror and my face looked really skinny.
I also stepped on the scale today and was down 2lbs (I did not record in sparkpeople because I want to wait until the end of the week, after the holiday)!

Things I'm thankful for:
Time off from work!
A boss that is so supportive of me.
Randy.
Having the couch moved downstairs!

2 more seconds off my time!

So I'm down to 12:25 average pace. I'm running about 2.67 miles. Well I am running intervals (running, brief periods of walking) ...however the slower intervals are becoming very small and I'm running longer. I am really excited about this! I never thought I would be able to do this or even enjoy it. I still won't call myself a runner after all that, but I am pretty close!

Nonscale victories:
Running for longer periods of time.
Running at a faster average pace.
Eating small portions at the work potluck.

I give thanks for:
My sparkfriends - they are the best!!!!
Randy & Cameron. They are my supporters, but also my motivators - I am determined to set a good example for both.

    OJ, You are doing great! emoticon Don't slow down, just take and add another lap when you are ready. That's what I'm doing. How ever I did go over board and have to back off for a few days. But I didn't ease off completely. I did get blessed with some excercise equipment., so I have gotten to add some rowing and step aerobics to my routine I actually over worked my lower legs, but I have to walk with a cane due to nerve damage. I just have to remember to take it slow.

Cat Wisdom

I've been running busy all day. Work was crazy and stressful. Thankfully when I got home Randy was willing to go for a walk with me and it helped burn off some steam. I also had a Mary Kay training event to go to which turned out to be fun. Then I had to run to the store to get some stuff to prepare for tomorrow's potluck at work.

I am now home and trying to catch up on sparking. Of course my cat in his infinite wisdom, has decided that I've been entirely too stressed and absent. He has forced me to take a moment for the important things like snuggling him of course, lol. And every time I go to type, he puts a hand up over my arm. Its been about five minutes and he's finally conceded to letting me type with him in my lap.

My life keeps getting busier and busier. I need to start getting organized and start planning things. I've fought it long enough, but I think it would greatly reduce some of my stress. I'm going to try meal planning and schedule planning. We'll see how I do.

Nonscale Victories:
Plasma Processor asked me if I lost weight today.

What I'm thankful for:
Whiskers, for forcing me to relax and enjoy the important things (like cat snuggles lol).
Randy supporting me and my walking efforts.

    Very wise indeed. I learned long ago that any time the cats cease to be the center of my universe, they will be quick to remind me that my priorities are messed up, and it is time to make the universe right again.
