What is sexy??x50

Doing it. Yes, doing "IT"! What ever your "IT" is and you are kickin its arse...That's sexy! I ran today, sluggish, complaining about a sore foot, menstrual cycle, lack of pooping, but I did IT! I feel damn happy I did.
You might not be training for any kinda race but doing your IT, rather swimming, biking, walking, WT or Yoga kick ass and take names. Never make excuses, that you are sore, your back hurts, your knees hurt, your arms hurt, Aunt Flo came, just get out there and do IT! You will thank yourself after its over, Promise.

And NEVER feel self conscious about being the sweaty fat girl running beside the HOT size zero faked boobies gal, because you know what? The more miles you log the closer you will be to that same hot bracket.
Run so hard you could care less that your sweaty shorts turned into boyshort underwear

Embrace carrying a towel in your truck because you are drenched from head to toe

Beware of that little girl beside you... my mom told me when I was very young, "Never trust a skinny person. They don't think like we do."
(I found this was true when I married one... he can eat one serving of dessert, and leave the rest for later! Crazy person!)

Im in nebraska...its so hot that even 4 am its way cooler to wear boy short undies to run in. Luckily everyone else was asleep so no one called indecent exposure on my jiggly thighs and jello belly

Hate to focus on the poop thing but that just cracked me the hell up! When I am not running or walking, that is an issue no matter how much I eat!

I have to say doing IT is great. My doc says that I am the only person in her entire practice with a hefty chronic disease(s) that runs and races. My Lyme doc just raises his eyebrows ( whom is dr #1 husband).

I bet if we asked size zero big boobies girl how she felt, we would be possibly surprised by her answer.

Running hard and lifting heavy! Oh I have such a girl crush on LoLo! I watched a youtube video with her working out and I just channel her when I get in the gym! LOVE HER!

Ok I am no LoLo

But I am kicking ass with the weights
I now finish my last curling set with these

And running hard

I'm not as thin as last summer and I wear old lady hats to protect my skin from the sun(wrinkles) but I am feeling better about myself.

Hey fat girl, should YOU help another fat girl?

Monday, June 18, 2012

That's how I am feeling lately! Frumpy, squishy and FAT! I seriously get discouraged if I do not burn at least 800-1000 cals aday in exercise 6days aweek. Crazy huh? But tell me not to eat 6 cups of pop corn I might tell ya to f off.
I have some friends wanting me to help them run, circuit, lift etc. One is my neighbor and asked to do some track traing with me 3x a week. She is heavier then I am and I can effortlessly jog and chat while she is panting and puffing along. BUT I love that she is doing it and encourage her everystep of the way. I am NOT a judgemental gal and LOVE when others start to run. I tell her to run her run and I am there for her(mind you this is an extra workout for me, or i get there earlier and run a few extra miles at my pace). She commented the other night to some friends that she was having such a hard time running and how I seemed not to be winded at all. I reminded her that I looked and ran just like her when I started at 217. She seems to be very motivated.
But all this is making me think...how can I be there for her or others while I am still fat??? Yes, fat. My waist has gone up 3 inches! I blamed it initially on my marathon training, now its just blatantly over eating.
I have cut back on carbs, my long runs are not over 12 miles so I do not feel the need to carb up for these.
I have begun to be CLEAN again

my carrots are rockin'

Home made cabbage/radish sauerkraut

So yes I am fat(er) and I may not be in a position to be a beacon of light for others but I am working on it.
I sweat my ass off at the gym

I benched 45 dumbbells today and it made me realize that I am one strong mo fo and maybe some of that "fat" is muscle

I can still run pushing the babies

And you know...my thighs still do not touch...boyah

I am gonna make the fat girl a fit girl

i think as women we tend to be really hard on ourselves, truth be told at 220 i am a lot fitter than friends of mine who are 135, it ain't all about LBS and inches, it is about conditioning. help your friend and feel proud that she looks to you for advice and guidance, that is a pretty special thing. i really love your clean eats - keep rockin it lovely!

It's hard to see yourself in your new skin once you've lost weight...evidenced by the many responses of "you're not fat". Additionally, even if you were fat, you would be the perfect person to lead another "fat" person into healthier lifestyle changes. In my experience, I have seen more people have success with people they can identify with (male/female/fat/skinny/fit/not fit). You understand what they are going through, because you've been there.

What better person to help someone else out of the ditch that they just came out of?

I want to point out that you have achieved the Holy Grail of success after 35: thighs that don't touch! I swear, in the past two years, my weight has moved down on my body... during my half marathon, I'm lucky my underwear didn't catch on fire from them rubbing together. Like RHIANN said, you're at my goal! Allow a little celebration for being so fit and strong. you're living a healthy life.

Your fitness/weight loss goals are your goals.

Granted I'm calling you a skinny btch as I'm reading this, but I do that every time I read your blogs.. emoticon emoticon .. I'm gonna get Tag'd for Inapporpriate Comment frm Christan Ladies for Clean Spark's-- emoticon - Any Whoo, I can see how your new friend can feel a bit over whelmed working out with you, It would be like showing up to a swim suit fitting with Jennifer Hudson, and her saying," Oh Girl it's the lighting/ Heels that make me look good. You look fine just wlk with your head high... ppffftttt-- She should know not to compare herself with you, becuz your fitness levels are obviously not the same.. Your doing good by being a good friend, and encouraging her... HOWEVER I do think it's time for you to have the real conversation: " Honey I'm gonna support you, but girl we cannot run together I need to be in my groove and your kinda messing that up for me"- emoticon

You ARE NOT fat!!!!!!!!! It is crazy how our minds are and we can't always see ourselves as others do! But I definitely understand what you are saying though...if you have goals and things you want to acheive for yourself you are taking time out of that to help others...because her workout doesn't challenge you enough. If you can make a good balance to do both an extra mini workout for you is a bonus...if you can't, don't feel bad to speak up for yourself! Show her the basics and let her fish on her own...

My husband just recently became a tutor for social work classes for some athletes at the university he is attending. He will graduate this upcoming year with a degree in social work. Even though he has not obtained his degree yet he still has more knowledge about the subject than the students he is tutoring. His grades were so high that the university actually asked him to tutor.
You have the knowledge and experience to help this girl with her goals. You've been there and done that. You may not be where you'd like to be but you are leaps and bounds ahead of others. That makes you qualified to help others. And what is even more awesome is that she sought YOU out. You didn't go giving her your two cents on weight loss. She sees how great you look and wants to be in on the action.
You are motivation whether you feel like it or not. Own it girl!!! :) emoticon emoticon emoticon

While you may feel as though you are fat (I don't see it - you look great), you can still help the girl. The reason I say this is because you've been where she is now. I assume she is just starting out, and at one point, you did too. She'll need support because it gets rough when you don't see the changes immediately. So, you can definitely be a great support system for her as I am sure she will need it!
