the last four days I've not even been trying. I'm not being a total pig, but have been cheatin on my diet way too much. I keep telling myself I'll do better tomorrow. Well, that tomorrow needs to really be tomorrow! I've not gained, well, actually I reckon I did. Scales were down a pound last week, and now back up that pound. Bummer. I've got to get my focus back and start all over. My husband is doing well, though. Hurray! :)

This weekend I have had and still have a stomach virus of some sort. Stomach cramping a lot, not throwing up, but, well, a lot of the other. I haven't eaten much of anything, and when I did, I succombed to the comfort of crackers, only 2, but still far away from low carb foods. I really didn't want anything else. Today I've barely eaten anything, a couple pieces of cauliflower, but it's not sitting well. Perhaps I'll get out the crackers again. I reckon that when this is over I'll begin again with induction. **sigh**

I was scared to weigh myself this morning. Forgot to first thing, so weighed after I had breakfast, which is ususally a mistake. I was hoping to at least see 1 lb. gone, and I saw 2.5 lbs gone!!!! I'm so happy! I'm doing something right.

I'm not doing as well on induction as I have in the past. Those carbs just crept up on me... they were still low, but not 20 or less, and I reckon it shows on my ticker :) I forgot that I can subtract fiber from the carbs, but still, a couple days went over.
But these last couple of days I've done well. I feel good about that. I weighed Monday morning and was down another 2 lbs, that's good, expected more tho. I"m sure it's due to those days above 20 carbs and the fact that I'm still not exercising yet. Don't know why I just can't get going with that. I know all the benefits... geez.
Anyhow. I keepin' on keepin' on and that's groovy. :)

Well, I feel like I'm eating too many calories, and I know that my carbs are low, but not induction level low. I have found that I have chocolate cravings. So I fixed up some chocolate fluff. It's real cream, whipped with artificial sweetener and cocoa. I eat about a quarter cup of it and it does satisfy that craving. I also miss fruit. Mainly Mangos. I really don't think I should add them to my diet right now, I have a hard enough time keeping carbs low with low carb foods. However, once I start owl, I will have a little bit on occassion.
btw, still eating boiled eggs, and are they colorful! :)
My son will be taking his first flight tomorrow (weather permitting). It's his 16th birthday gift from his dad and I. He will have a first lesson, be allowed to take off and fly the plane for an hour. The instructor will land it. It's all scary and exciting to me. To him, it's just exciting. I asked him if he was a little afraid, he said no, he's too excited to be afraid. This will be his first time to fly as well.
