No cheat challange

WooHoo! It works! There were so many times I wanted to cheat... Just a bite of this and a bite of that... several things being chocolate... but I remembered the challange and how I've gotta be honest and post how I did today... So I said NO to the temptations and stuck with my diet. Thanks, Jenna, this is a great idea and it definitely helped me stay on track today!

My scales this morning read 228. That's up 2 from what I have on my tracker, but I just don't have the heart to change it to a higher number, so I'll leave it as is, and hopefully soon I'll be changing it to a lower number!

the last four days I've not even been trying. I'm not being a total pig, but have been cheatin on my diet way too much. I keep telling myself I'll do better tomorrow. Well, that tomorrow needs to really be tomorrow! I've not gained, well, actually I reckon I did. Scales were down a pound last week, and now back up that pound. Bummer. I've got to get my focus back and start all over. My husband is doing well, though. Hurray! :)

    THAT sounds like something I need to do! A challange to not cheat. Know what my first thought was... Can we start Monday? :P

So, how do we do this? Will there be guidelines? Like, if I stay within my carb and calorie levels, but I got them all from sugarless chocolate, does that count as a cheat? Chocolate has been my vice this week!!!!

And I'm scared to get on the scales. I've not even entered in my foods for several days. I will today, though.

Jen, let's do this. I need to get a kick start again, and you need to break your plateau! If you start the group, I'll be your first member :)

  Oh sweety, I am so right there with you! I've been on a plateau, but I think it's more of a cheating problem than a true plateau. Wanna do a no cheat challenge? I'll do it with you! Heck, I think I'll start a group! We can set up weekly little rewards for not cheating and a bigger reward at the end of the month. Want to join me? Don't let this bump in the road get you down!!

This weekend I have had and still have a stomach virus of some sort. Stomach cramping a lot, not throwing up, but, well, a lot of the other. I haven't eaten much of anything, and when I did, I succombed to the comfort of crackers, only 2, but still far away from low carb foods. I really didn't want anything else. Today I've barely eaten anything, a couple pieces of cauliflower, but it's not sitting well. Perhaps I'll get out the crackers again. I reckon that when this is over I'll begin again with induction. **sigh**

I was scared to weigh myself this morning. Forgot to first thing, so weighed after I had breakfast, which is ususally a mistake. I was hoping to at least see 1 lb. gone, and I saw 2.5 lbs gone!!!! I'm so happy! I'm doing something right.

I'm not doing as well on induction as I have in the past. Those carbs just crept up on me... they were still low, but not 20 or less, and I reckon it shows on my ticker :) I forgot that I can subtract fiber from the carbs, but still, a couple days went over.

But these last couple of days I've done well. I feel good about that. I weighed Monday morning and was down another 2 lbs, that's good, expected more tho. I"m sure it's due to those days above 20 carbs and the fact that I'm still not exercising yet. Don't know why I just can't get going with that. I know all the benefits... geez.

Anyhow. I keepin' on keepin' on and that's groovy. :)
