Spring Bootcamp Week 1 Day 1 Sunday

Today is day 1 of the Spring into Shape bootcamp. I surprisingly did the video workout for today in spite of myself. Cardio will be Mon-Fri and that's when the hula dancing comes in. I might do a little today, tho... maybe, just cause I like it.

**sigh** Not to be a bummer or anything, but... I'm in need of prayers. I had a really bad morning, I'm an emotional wreck right now. Could be hormones, but it doesn't matter, I feel horrible and have fallen into the negative self-talk mode. This is hard to admit. I journaled my feelings, but that just came out as more negativity. I feel like so much is spiraling out of control. I know things will get better, but right now I feel so depressed.

Anyhow, I'm planning on a good week exercise and diet wise at least.

  I think its all apart of being a female, I am glad and grateful that someone else feels like that too, because just to know im not losing my mind or anything, I will pray for you daily however....i just wish i had high speed internet along with my own computer so i could get online daily..and do streaks and keep in contact w/ others w like emotions.. Just remember what helps me everytime are the two parts of the bible:
1. this too shall pass
2. All things to the glory of God forever, amen (is my favorite scripture) as well as works w/ EVERYTHING that goes "wrong" in my life. Keep steadfast and persistant! emoticon

    I have those days as well. Just remember, whatever you do, it can always be undone. So don't beat yourself up if you do eat more than you planned.

Do something tropical - eat a banana, do your hula. You love the tropical things. Surround yourself with the things / food / music / movies you love and embrace yourself! I love you, so you should love you too! You are an awesome chick!

    I hope that concentrating on your workout and getting some good exercise happening that your mood will improve. I know how hard it is to overcome negativity, especially when it comes from within, but you have friends here. Take comfort that you are not alone and lift yourself up. emoticon

Week 7 on WW

This week began with me using every one of my extra weekly points in one day: Easter. So the rest of the week was a bit of a struggle. I ended up going over by a few. However, I still lost a pound and that is at least a step in the right direction!

I have grand plans for May... better adherence to the plan and... adding in some exercise! I would like to see another 10-15 pounds gone by June 1.

Severe Weather in AR

Got some video of the ominous clouds, but the aren't nearly as creepy recorded as they were in person! the lower clouds and the higher clouds were moving in different directions... you can't really see that in this, I reckon I moved the camera too much. It's calm now, but we're still under a tornado watch.. we have more to look forward to tonight.

    I live in Arkansas, too. We rode out the storms in the hallways of St. Vincent's Infirmary in Little Rock while the tornadoes tore down trees at my house. I haven't been home yet to see the damage. I'm going home tomorrow morning for a little while, I'll see it then. I'm praying for all those folks in Vilonia and other parts of the state that have been devastated over the past two days.

I hope that you didn't suffer any damage.

Week 6 on WW

OMGosh, it's been one of those weeks. I have been emotional, weepy, forgetful, worried, and occasionally elated... go figure... tom's here this week, too. Oh really? I couldn't tell. **sigh** ;)

So much for my intentions on NOT using the weekly points last week. I used up every one of them! And I was so scared to weigh in... with tom, all the eating, all the issues. I just knew it was going to blow.

But I did it.... and to my sheer surprise, lost 2.5 lbs. So I am finally back on the weight loss wagon. That made me happy.

Also, what happened that was good this week: my daughter did well on an oral book report and was entered into the book pageant where she has to dress up and act out a little part of something from the book along with giving her report again... She's Arya from Eragon. :) and she looked adorable. I should've got a pic! Dang... just another forgetful thing. I will when she does this again for the pageant.

I also finally tried the Hula workout I got from Netflix... wow, that is some workout and I CAN DO IT! I can do those moves. Now... I didn't finish the workout cause I got pooped. But I really liked it a lot, so I ordered it from Amazon. :) Can't wait for it to come in (I would have just copied the one from Netflix, but my burning software is on the fritz... besides, the DVD was just $5.)

Anyhow, I'm really hoping next week is much better than this week was!

Week 5 on WW

I had a grand day with my daughter today. All we did was go shopping at several places, but she loved it... trying on clothes and stuff like that. She got her first "real" purse today (from the ladies' dept) and we bought a lot of pretties to make it HERS. We did that this evening after a terrific supper of grilled burgers & chips. Ever had a jalapeno burger? it's delicous, especially with fresh grilled pineapple. YUM!

Anyhow her purse is coming along nicely.

The rest of my family had a great time airsofting. It was my oldest daughter's first time and hubs said on the first game round with her first shot she took out a seasoned player! LOL! When they got home, she changed the oil in her car (with Dad's guidance, but she requested to know how to do it.) Smart girl. :)

Weigh in today was down. So, I got all but 1/2 lb of that horrid gain gone, but I was hoping for better. I wanted to show a genuine loss. :/

oh well... when will I learn that pizza the night before weigh ins usually results in undesirable numbers. I will do better next week. I plan on not using any of the weekly points... just the daily. Plus keeping on with the water and maybe even a little exercise this week. I just got a Hula Dance workout video from Netflix and I'm looking forward to doing that. :)
