I'm not doing as well on induction as I have in the past. Those carbs just crept up on me... they were still low, but not 20 or less, and I reckon it shows on my ticker :) I forgot that I can subtract fiber from the carbs, but still, a couple days went over.
But these last couple of days I've done well. I feel good about that. I weighed Monday morning and was down another 2 lbs, that's good, expected more tho. I"m sure it's due to those days above 20 carbs and the fact that I'm still not exercising yet. Don't know why I just can't get going with that. I know all the benefits... geez.
Anyhow. I keepin' on keepin' on and that's groovy. :)

Well, I feel like I'm eating too many calories, and I know that my carbs are low, but not induction level low. I have found that I have chocolate cravings. So I fixed up some chocolate fluff. It's real cream, whipped with artificial sweetener and cocoa. I eat about a quarter cup of it and it does satisfy that craving. I also miss fruit. Mainly Mangos. I really don't think I should add them to my diet right now, I have a hard enough time keeping carbs low with low carb foods. However, once I start owl, I will have a little bit on occassion.
btw, still eating boiled eggs, and are they colorful! :)
My son will be taking his first flight tomorrow (weather permitting). It's his 16th birthday gift from his dad and I. He will have a first lesson, be allowed to take off and fly the plane for an hour. The instructor will land it. It's all scary and exciting to me. To him, it's just exciting. I asked him if he was a little afraid, he said no, he's too excited to be afraid. This will be his first time to fly as well.

I love Easter! I love Jesus, and the fact that HE LIVES! And I love the wonderful feast we always have! :)
Smoked chicken and ham, peas, and other veggies, salads, chocolate cake, cheesecake, ice cream, breads, and it was all so, so delicious!
So, here I go, day 1 again of induction. And I'm ok with it. We have leftovers of the smoked meats and I'm going to enjoy them still! :) Not to mention the Easter eggs... good think I love boiled eggs, too! :)

Did well first day, I feel, but went overcarbbed the next two days, and feel pretty good about today so far. But, regardless, still am down a pound and that's good. Hubby wants to do this with me... which is good & bad... He does need to lose weight, and I encourage that completely, but... he will lose faster than me, and it won't be fair!!! Some of you ladies will know what I mean! :)

I started the Atkins Diet today.
I'm not feeling hungry right now, and have only had brunch (it was around 10AM) of 2 scrambled eggs and 1oz of gouda cheese. I do need to drink some water, tho. I always have trouble with that in spite of liking water. I do best with bottled water, so I'll pick some up!
