Wishing eveyone here at SP a Very Merry Christmas. 2013 has been speckled with a mixed
bad of the good and bad.

But the bad has me feeling down in the dumps and rather discouraged. No motivation to persue wt loss, exeicise, or eat healthy whatsoever, so... I am in a bad rut. Although I certainly appreciate those who have offered support here on SP, I must say that I have found this site to have some strong disadvantages. One major disadvantage is when people drop off doing their blogs or enteries and you have no idea what has happened to them. For example, one member who was a strong source of encouragment and faiitful blogger, has literally not done anything on here for the past 5 months or so. I haven't a clue if this person has totally given up or if they are even alive at this point. I hate this about SP. Another annoyance is that when I have tried to encourage others, most of the time I don't know if anyone even reads my blogs or gives a ____
Anyhow. This just is not working for me right now, and I am not going to pretend it does. If I had more to offer in the way of support or motivation I would stay. But when It feels no one cares, it is just too discouraging. For those who find solace and support here at SP I wish you all the best in 2014! SIgning off....

What an awesome day. The sun is shining (it rained all weekend)! I got an elliptical machine for hubby and I to share... and you know is even better? I cost me only $40 (second hand) but it is in great shape. I am building a mini gym in my basement.
I was very active last week and am down 1 lb when I got on the scales this am.
Here to pressing on into this week! Good luck to all my SP friends. Grab hold of that something that is part of your dream, your goal toward your future and go with it this week. emoticon

Back at it!

My workout activities suffered big time this winter. Now I am getting back into the workouts. Surprisingly, it was easier than I thought it would be. Working and being a student is the biggest obstacle I have that keeps me from engaging in physical activities. What is yours? How do you overcome it? Love to hear from you.

    Congratulations on starting again!

Being in school and working carves a lot of time out of the day. I'm guessing it would be good to schedule your work-outs as if they were a required class or you could take a class in the health area that involves fitness activities if you haven't already met your health requirement. Many moons ago when I was in school I would either get up an hour early or do the work-outs at night. Back then working-out at night didn't bother my sleep pattern but it does for some people.

I think we all struggle in certain areas. Sometimes you have to try a few different things to find what works for you.

down one last week up one this week 180 lbs no loss overall this January, I feel like the New Year Blimp
oh well, watering it up this week. Tryig to avoid evening snacking, but just saying makes me wanna raid the fridge, but I will resist, except to get water.
