Rather than set a long-term weight loss goal which I figured would seem to large to ever reach, I set a short-term and hopefully attainable one. That was 40 days ago.
First few weeks were incredibly successful ... I was excited and motivated... but to be honest, I was depriving myself of things that I knew I'd not give up forever.. ie: my Happy Hour beverage. I decided this was unrealistic, so I started having the odd one, still watching to stay within my calorie allowance.
However, for the past two weeks, I've stayed at exactly the same weight... I've not lost a single pound. Could I be plateau'ing already?? Hmmm...
However.. I'm not unhappy as I'm still on track for my weight loss goal. Also, people have started to comment on the weight I have lost and I feel better for it. I suppose I should be happy that at least I'm not putting the weight back on!!
September is a new month.. so my goal for this month is to get more fitness into my schedule, hopefully that will put another dip on my chart!!.
