Grilled Balsamic Potato Planks

Well this is what I made for dinner tonight along with Grilled Turkey Brats from Johnsonville. I made home Salsa yesterday and added a catsup along with the planks. They were out of this world. How I made them was to put about 3 tablespoons of Balsamic vinegar in a zip lock bag. Along with this I added 1 tablespoon of EVOO some Dollar store spice mix and some powdered garlic and onion powder. shook em up and put on aluminum foil on the grill took about 10 mins for the first side and maybe 7 for the second side. Try em there great.

Got out this afternoon for a 30 minuet bike ride that just about wore me out. It was not just the heat but the exercise itself.

    Dr. told me it is good to mix up exercises so you did good.

Bet you lost some weight and built some muscle also.

A mall walk

Well did go out to the mall when I got out of work today and did 5 trips around. At the end when I went to check my time I discovered my battery on my pedometer was dead. All those steps lost form 3:30 t0 11:00. Promptly went and bought a new battery. Don;t like being without my pedi.

    Oh dear, nothing worse in a walkers life than lost steps because of malfunction of equipment.

But still you did get your steps in and your body will thank you for it. I am still trying to get the team together for a meeting and/or walk but not having much luck. Guess everyone is busy during the summer.

A visit

Well Miss Bella just left love it when she comes to visit. We had Panko crusted chicken cooked on the grill with Southwest style potatoes. Green beans also. Well got my morning walk in then a little later went out for a bike ride. Had forgot just how much work it was to ride a bike. Went out for a 15 minute ride and it was a good workout.

Well got walk in this morning felt really good to be out there walking. Was going to go out to the mal but remembered that they did not open early anymore and by the time they did open was not still in the mood. Well got out this afternoon and did some walking around Walmart. Bought me a new mountain bike so i'll be able to get some riding in on a bike that works right now, Plan on going out every day after work for at least 30 mins.

Well here is to another week in the books. A good week overall. Eating ok not great. Have to get serious about this again now that I have a sort of plan for my walking. To the walking thing It's tough to say at this time what day would be best to get together with the Leesburg Sparkers. I'm going to let you guys tell me when and I'll try and make it there . It is tough getting back into a routine after you have to change everything. We are all pulling for you though so hang tough.
