Bummed

Well stepped on the scale this morning and had gained 2 pounds. That did not help my attitude when I when out for my walk this morning which I cut short by 15 mins. The mind is a terrible thing to play with. I did not recoup my positive attitude and kept thinking about those 2 lbs not about doing well and continuing on my walk. The heat and humidity didn't help but that's just an excise. I still can't figure how i gained when I exercised every day I could. This would mean that I took in 7000 more calories in two weeks than I walked off. Don't believe it. As you can tell I'm not a happy camper but this will pass too.

    Please remember that muscle is heavier than fat. Have you tried checking your measurements instead. I have found that sometimes helps. Keep smiling sunshine. emoticon Tomorrow is another day.

    review your food log. Re-evaluate your calorie needs. Exercise is key for our fitness, but not so great for weight loss. If you've been stellar with your calories and you aren't in need of the bathroom, maybe a call to the Doc is in order after a few days of this? (scratching head).

    two pounds is not a terrible gain and its small enough it could be something like water weight or uhm.... last night's dinner making its way through.

I wouldn't worry too much about that - just keep doing what you are doing and next week you'll see a change.

    You shouldn't beat yourself up too much. The body is a marvelous thing, but there is lots going on that can affect that number on the scale. Curious, do you live in an area that is having the high temperatures? Your body could be holding on to fluids because of it. Make sure you drink your 8 cups of water a day minimum to flush out your system.

Wish I was

Yea I wish I was talented enough to be writting a book. Not reading one at this time either. These are answers to questions ask of my blog last night. Must have been the diet soda. Yea right I just can't spell without my checker and I did not reread last nights blog before posting. Day went well got lots of steps in 11265 to be exact. Eationg was under and overall a real good kinda day. Hope ytou all had a great one also good night. What's up with this site tonight keep getting that dreaded screen The page cannot be displayed.

A busy day in book as far as this morning went work on the other hand was very slow. Just not feeling the vibes tonight probably all the diet soda I drank today need to get back of the stuff easier said than dine. Hope you all had a great weekend later.

    I used to be hooked on Diet Coke personally. There were times I'd drink half dozen cans or bottles a day. Due to aspertame, diet pop may be more hazardous than regular. Good luck getting off of it. I broke the habit by switching to ginger ale (ie regular pop) myself and then when I got serious about losing weight, I cannot explain it but I just had the willpower to switch totally to water. I tried the same thing dozens of times before and always failed after a week or so. This time, desire to lose weight took over I guess.

Good luck, you'll do it. Read up on the negative effects of aspartame and that might help give you the willpower to quit.

    not as hard as getting off the regular coca cola, i got so hooked on it i was like a junkie, everytime i would pass a coke machine i was trying to jump out of the car, haha, anyway, good luck

Watching time go by

Sometime I wonder what it would be like to just sit and watch time go by. Then I really think about it and that is what I used to do before starting this adventure of losing weight. Well that's about as deep as I get for the night. Tired got out of work an hour or so ago. Fixed dinner pork steaks, baked sweet potato and green beans. Well hope everyone is enjoying their day off. I've got breakfast in the morning wish us luck that lot's of people are hungry in the morning. Later
