So, here I am finally blogging, after more than 3 months on Spark. I started out having lost a few pounds just two weeks prior, and since joining have lost a few more.The greatest benefit, which is truly enlightening, is that by tracking my calories, I am now aware of what I eat. I have mostly stayed within my range but do not regularly exercise -- hence, the SLOW weight loss. The only negative for me is the amount of time that I spend tracking. It seems to take longer than it should. I need to create shortcuts to clump the items I eat everyday together, like fish oil and coffee creamer. I wonder if there is a way to organize my favorite list?
In any case, I LOVE reading entries by other members -- very encouraging. I still don't understand exactly how to find buddies, so for now you could say I am winging it either alone, or with the entire spark community. I prefer my cup to be half full and greatful for this sophisticated site!
I've wanted to rejoin my favorite gym (currently belong to one I don't like and don't go to). I've made this a reward for losing ten pounds, sort of a proof of commitment. Well, I have one pound to go (started before Spark), and I am going to rejoin the best gym ever!! Can't wait!!
