Since starting my new job--mainly driving all day far distances,eating a lot of drive through I have gained 28 pounds! In 5 months! My legs are swollen all the time now. I feel like complete crap.
It is so hard to get back into a routine of healthy eating. Junk food is very much an addiction!
I decided today,right now I am going to give it another go to kick this addiction cold turkey.
I have to relearn how to eat again. I have to start packing healthy snacks in a cooler for the car. And fit it some type of workout somewhere. I went from working 3 nights a week 12 hr shifts in a hospital. To working 5 (sometimes 6-7) days a week as a home infusion RN and the distances I drive are incredible--I can drive 300 miles plus in one day some days. I am barely ever home,and when I am there is still calls to make and paperwork to do. I love the job very much. I have a lot of autonomy in this field but its created an unorganized enviroment as far as my weightloss and thrown me off course. I did not prepare myself right. So this is a vow to myself to get this right! I deserve this!
