I just found out this sweet lady passed away back in April. I saw a post about her having heart surgery and noticed her page had not been updated in a long while. I have been away from Sparkpeople awhile and just got back on. I am so sorry to hear about this.

I love it when you post. You are a fun person and I always read YOUR blogs first!!!! I love hearing about your town and trips to Bethel and Anchorage! It's like I'm there with you!! I miss Alaska, but it makes me feel better when you tell of your adventures up there!!

When I lived in SE Alaska, we had LOTS of snow. I have to drive to the mountains to find snow here in Oregon!

For the life of me

Thursday, March 24, 2011

Long time, don't know what to say, I guess I wasn't really focused on being serious about losing weight. Back to square one and really don't care, it's in me somewhere and I did go down 20 pounds and for the life of me I need to find it again.

I haven't heard anything from you in a long time. So glad you are back with us. Who cares if you lose weight, gain weight. I know this is supposed to be a weight loss thing, but it's about friends too.

So, good luck on your weight loss.

I am so glad to hear from you.

Hugs. emoticon

Got the winter blues? Justlook around and see the beaty in front of you! Look at what you have...not what you don't have. Look at your beautiful children, your warm house, your great job!! Look at the times you were succeeding....match what you were doing...think yourself into action! Many time if you can convince yourself it's fun, the time goes faster. I know all about plateaus....I have been on one for what seems like forever...but I continue to look forward...each new day is a new beginning!!

many hugs

I agree with the others that you just have to keep on keeping on. It will get better and you will see the light at the end of the tunnel. We have all been at the place where you now find yourself. Just believe in yourself and remember that we're here for you.

Sometimes you have to fake it, I think. It's harder and you have to make yourself do some things you just don't feel like doing. But if you fake it long enough, you will probably get back into the groove & have some motivation and it will be much easier.

Routine.

Monday, January 31, 2011

I thought I would feel so rejected when I heard a friend of mine said no to me but it wasn't that bad. I don't know if I'm actually ready for a new relationship, 3 years without anyone is a few good years. Although I do get lonely once in a while it ain't that bad.

I'm taking it day by day doing semi well on my exercises, my best friend is staying with us for a while and it's been good company. She was having trouble with her boyfriend so she decided to stay with us. I don't mind, keeps my mind busy, with all the conversation we've been having about life and where and what we ended up with.

Routine is all I can say, no complaints no new things just life and that's good enough for me.

Oh I will be going to Anchorage for a few days but even that is getting to be not so exciting.

Try something new when you go to Anchorage.Don't let the trips get boring.Try new foods, new stores or even new movies etc.Go walking on different streets.Don't look for a new love,it he will find you when you stop looking and start enjoying life on your own.Good luck and have fun on your short trip! emoticon

Time To Be Alone

Friday, January 14, 2011

The new year has been interesting for me, it started out nicely and it's continuing to be nice although I'm yo yo-ing from 2 to 3 pounds up and down, I'm not obsessed over the fact that I gained, I overwork my thoughts with lots and lots of negative, I evaluate myself and move on.

I'm still waiting on the ab doer, I can't wait how that will work. I'm waiting for time to be alone to start up my exercise at home again, I've had company for the past week and it's great to have my uncle there but I'm lacking the input of exercise because doing it outside is too cold. The gym has been too busy evenings so that kind of explains why I've gained again.

K Have a good day and I'll do the same.

Having guests is great, but getting back on track will make you feel better. I hope the gym gets less crazy...maybe the New Year's new members will slow a bit and the regulars can get back to business! lol

I do most of my exercising in the house. I know it's not as fun as the gym, but it still works. I wish you luck with getting things going again now that your house is back to "normal" whatever that is :)
