Hello to all. I'm GIVING THANKS for my health! I'm SO grateful to have energy again, and I did my strength training today, and plan to start walking/cycling again tomorrow. VERY MUCH looking forward to being OUTSIDE!!!!!

Had a GREAT impromptu dining experience with our 'BESTEST' FRIENDS, last night. We called and asked if they wanted to join us at the Grille, and they invited us for supper instead. Mmmmm, YUMMY heart-shaped pizza, salad and cheesecake on the menu. Plus the TABLE was adorable! Red-checkered table cloth, white platters w/red napkins, valentine m&m's scattered in front of each plate, goblets of sparkling apple juice, and to TOP it off, DOVE DARK CHOCOLATE!!!! And you'll be tickled to know that I ate moderately.

Okay, it's official! I think I may have the MOTHER load today on my good deals! We are talking FANTASTIC deals!!! My daughter got 4 Breyer horses [usually sell between $20-30 [or more] retail, and a wonderful barn FOR THE GRAND TOTAL of $6. To say she was elated would be putting it mildly! ha!

WHERE do I begin! This is a partial list--I'm NOT kidding you!

Pristine pillowcases

Mason jar glasses

A set of DARLING glass plates w/glass cups for tea parties [7 plates, 8 cups]

glass vases, and candle holders

old bottles, and creamers and salt/pepper shakers

A colander

A huge container of colored pencils WITH tracing paper

pads of paper and stickers

'character' bath towel and CUTE pillow case for Sammy

collar and leash for our dog.

4 tops for me

2 pair of 32/30's for the boys

AND a WHOLE bag of practically brand new [DARLING name-brand] infant 3-12 months] clothes for my dear friend's new granddaughter!!!!!!!

TWENTY DOLLARS!!!!! THAT'S IT--$20!!!!!! Okay, here are a few shots of my loot! ha! Can you tell I really like working at the thrift store! Not only do you get first pick, BUT you get half price!!!!!! And Mary is SO thrilled! We split a black bean veggie burger afterwards and she just couldn't quit smiling! She burst out with, 'I LOVE THRIFT STORES.' Blesses me so much that she is learning the value of a buck!









And SO much of what I got I'm going to 're-gift' with creative ideas from Pinterest. It's SO fun to recycle!!!!!

Okay, well I feel like walking 5 miles with the adrenaline rush of this shopping day! hahahaha And if it wasn't 8:30 at night, that's exactly what I'd do!

I tell you, every time I get sick, my RESPECT for JOB rises exponentially! I'm SUCH a wimp! But I'm feeling MUCH better, praise God!

This morning I made Pastry Wheat Blueberry muffins. Mmmm, they were tasty. I wanted to do something a little special that wouldn't require much energy since I'm just getting my strength back, so I did this for Valentine's day--idea on Pinterest:

Line your muffin tins with papers. Stick a normal size marble on the outside of each paper and it forms a heart.

Add your batter [I made a mistake of putting too much, so if you do this, don't add the normal amt. for a muffin.]

Bake and enjoy! 164.5 calories, 5.6 grams of fat, 15.1 carbs and 4 g. of protein. Here is the recipe

Among the living...

Hello, to my DEAR friends.

I'm still not myself, but at least I'm among the living again. My head still hurts but not as impacted as it's been and my headaches are subsiding a tad. Thanks for all your prayers.

We've had to move our Valentine party to the 28th. Disappointing, but I'm in no shape for a party.

Update from the doctor

I have a very bad sinus infection and I'm on a double antibiotic. She told me not to expect to feel any better for at least 3 days--10 day prescription. This infection is draining and causing my stomach issues, and the prescription is supposed to be hard on the stomach so I'm not too excited about that. Eating some soup and hopefully this will keep me from getting sick from the meds.

THANK YOU for your prayers and everyone's LOVING words to me! I so appreciate my dearest friends here.

THANK YOU for your prayers!

I have a doctor's appt. at 1:00. I'm still feeling REALLY weird! Very shaky and now nauseated. My vision is different too, don't know what that's about.

Anyway, I mentioned the tick borne possibility per Pam's recommendation, so they will take blood and find out what's up. I wonder if my iron is low too since I feel so weak.

Anyway, thank you again for your thoughts. One of my boys is driving me to the doctor since I don't feel I should drive.
