Rededication

Monday, October 20, 2008

Welcome to your new Family! We are so glad and excited that you are here!
Here we want to build a lasting realationship with each other in reshaping our healthy new bodies and lifestyle changes! Even though we are a team and there is no I in team we are all NUMBER ONE here! And we're all going to support each other in learning how to take back the power to make our lives healthy, exciting and worthwhile and to be very happy while we reach for our dreams together.
So let's get us started!

Here are the links

Second: The Essential Keys to Success!
Read them, take them to heart!

So.......What day is this? The DAY that I’m referring to could quite possibly be the most important, significant life-changing day of my life, IF I choose to make it so. So is this going to be a day just like every other day? Another day where I talk the talk but still don’t walk the walk? Another day where I give lip service to my hopes and dreams but take no action to make them happen? NO! this IS going to be THE day when I finally start to put my hopes and dreams into action! Whatever it is that I dream of doing, it can’t happen until I make it happen. I've always wanted to do this and each day I find a reason to put it off. So I ask : What day is this? Is today THE day?
YES I AM FINALLY ready to get serious about my health, for good. because.....If there was ever a time to make a difference, to embark on something worth doing, IT IS NOW!.

And it's not that it's been for the lack of trying or continued endurance but I know I haven't totally been giving it my all here and I feel like I have been letting my team/family members down in the respect. So I so want to apoplogize if I haven't been there for you as much as I need to be as a leader. Some of it has been my life at present; events that keep me occupied so I have had to prioirtize and sadly that meant not being her full time. And no doubt my co-captians have felt it too.
So I am feeling hte need of rededication to everyone including myself.

emoticon There was a quote on Sp . I don't remember it exactly but is essense it says. "You are either 100% in or 100% out. There is no life in-between" I need to rededicate myself often before compacency or bordom sets in. I know you are in.

Better but not quite satisfied

Sunday, October 19, 2008

Am feeling 80% better this morning after another good nights sleep. My bronchials are still full and it makes my breathing laboured but I use my puffer and have also been chocking the phlem up YUCK!!! but hey my body is naturally ridding itself of the infection now. My appetite is still not what it should be but then maybe it is LOL I tried eating yesterday and found that I could eat my breakfast of hasbrowns and a coffee For lunch I managed an egg salad sandwich and a fruit cup I tried baked chicken wings and wedggies for dinner and could only eat two wings and about four wedggies!
This morning it was a few hasbrowns and one egg and a half cup coffee with my 10 ounces of veggie fruit juice.

I did get my curtains hung and still am not quite satisfied with the way I arranged things so am re arrangng this morning.

I hope you are feeling even better today. I totally understand the being choked up but I refuse to use the inhaler sometimes. I go take a hot shower and that helps me a lot.

I hope your day will be blessed and you will find strength for your work load.

hugs

Hope, Faith and Support

Thursday, October 16, 2008

Hope doesn’t come from calculating whether the good news is winning out over the bad. It is simply a choice to take action. - Anna Lappe

Hope, Faith and Support

These economic times have created a lot of fear and worry around the world. We have a sense of uncertainty about what is going to happen. We all are hoping things get better. I have never been a huge fan of the word hope. When we hope we are waiting for something to happen that we have no control over.

When I hope for things that I cannot control to happen, if they do not happen, I get disheartened. As the old saying goes, “Expectations breed disappointments.” To me, hoping is passive. I prefer to look at situations and examine what actions I can take. How can I make what is happening in my life better?

Sure, we all hope that the economic times get better, but the reality is that they might not. We might face another terrible week in the markets. This can and will affect jobs and employment. This can have an effect on our credit and cash position today. If I hope, that will not change what is happening.

Decide today instead of just hope, that you will take action in your life. Look to what you can do to improve what is going on in your life, and the world around you.

Faith

I am big believer in faith. Faith is quite different from hope. I have faith that no matter what happens, we will get though it. Things will not be the same--maybe you cannot go out to dinner as often. Maybe many things will change. Maybe nothing will change except your net worth. Regardless of the immediate circumstances, we should have faith that we will get through it. That is where faith is different from hope.

I have faith that we can manage events and get into action to make things better. Faith is something that no person or event can take away from you except yourself. You can lose your faith by allowing yourself to delve into negative thinking by convincing yourself that things are so bad you cannot do anything. When you start believing that things are totally out of your control, you feel helpless and you can lose your faith.

Whatever you lose, you can work to rebuild. Wherever you are, you can enjoy friends and family. Keep your faith, get into action, and stay positive. How you think will effect how you handle life events.

Support

With faith, we need to believe and come together. We need to support one another and rebuild our strength. It is with our belief in ourselves that we turn events around. You are all-powerful and can contribute to positive change. Here at Doin' it right gettin'er done we can share stories, we can comment, and we can cheer each other on. It is important that we support each other all over the world. We each can make a difference.

Your family, friends and community need your support. They need all of us to be powerful, stay positive, and get into action. Look for opportunities to help each other, and create opportunities.

Get into action, keep your faith, support each other and we will turn lives around: yours, mine and everyone’s together! Stay positive this week no matter what events take place.

I have faith in you,

This is such an inspiring blog. I guess I will always have faith. While I know there is a plan, I also know that I have free choice. I can be passive or I can be an instrument of change. I choose change. Fear can be conquered, frustrations can be overcome, inertia can be overcome.
Thank you for reminding me.

Swing in Emotions; Still a little outta sorts

Thursday, October 16, 2008

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could...

- Ralph Waldo Emerson, writer

Giving It Your All

If you can do your best and forget your worst, you've already got a head start on tomorrow. As long as you lay it out there every day, you can relax when yesterday is behind you. Of course, the only way this will happen is if you give yourself permission to forget. You can use this approach in anything: Pick up a problem, do what you can with it, and then put it down. Work your tail off at the office, then leave it there (the work, not your tail). Deal with a personal crisis by finishing off one day at a time. There's a great deal of satisfaction in leaving things be for a moment. There's a great deal of freedom in knowing that you could do no more. And there's a great deal of success awaiting the person who gives it her all, no matter what.

Well man I hate this time of life and all that goes with it I was so emotional yesterday I didn't know who I was whether I was coming going gone or already left! Today just knowing that it is my day off and that I don't have to go into that atmosphere unless I have to or want to and getting a good nights sleep I feel totally different this morning. Even though I'm still feeling somewhat out of sorts my emotions are back on even keel my mind body and spirit are one again. And I have my day all planned out, but have to wait until the hardware store opens because I am minus the things I need to work with!
Me and the puppies are having steak for breakfast!

When I read that on the daily reflection it resonated with me. How many times do I say today is a new day to make better choices. If you do not forget yesterday, you can't do it.
I'm glad you are back on an even keel and are moving forward. Don't lose that feeling.
