Yep today is the day The first day of the rest of my life!
Today is dedication day I am dedicated to self improvement. I have the tools of life and i'm going to start using them! These will change everything about me!
My CHeck list
Here's the way I look at things
I Finish each day and be done with it. I have done what I could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; I forget them as soon as I can. Tomorrow is a new day, I shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with the old nonsense. Finish each day before you begin the next, interpose a solid wall of sleep between the two.
Out with the old onward with the new!
TOMOROW HAS NO MISTAKES IN IT!
And tomorrow I will
Wake up and say, “I’m having a great day!”
I Breathe in through my nose, deeply filling up my chest, then out through my mouth. Then I head for with confidence, to the bathroom.
Splash my face with water.
Brush my teeth.
Look in mirror and smile at myself.
Say: "The day is mine!"
And think of at least one thing I'm grateful for
I try to remember to catch myself saying negative things about myrself throughout the day.
And I ask myself if they are true or false.
If they are false, I say the opposite thing to it.
If they are true, I change how I treat myself. I Do not put myself down. Instead I say, “I can change these things and make my life better."
Any time I am presented with a problem I will find my opportunity.
After my first smile I say, “Hello inner voice.”
And I repeat the following affirmation: “I am honest and truthful with myself. I like myself and treat myself in a healthy manner.”
I have learned that before I make a decision, stop for a second, listen to your inner voice and check myself.
Throughout the day, I now find myself smiling more!.
I use my inner voice to do alot of what I do now!.
When I forget I take notice and change the behavior.
I also ask myself What is one thing I can do for myself today now that I like myself more?
My biggest downfall is to remember to drink water! I’ve read it, I know it, so now do it!
I have also started to take two to ten minutes a day to make something better in my life.
DO IT! Do it every day and accumulate the benefits.
I also go to the mirror a few times during the day.(When I have the chance to ask myself, “How am I?” I then make it practise/habit to shake off any negativity and say to myself, “My attitude is my decision.”
When I do the above any time I catch myself out of control, I go back to the mirror and say, “My attitude is my decision, and I am deciding to have a good one.”
I've also noticed that I have started to pay attention to excuses. Becasue behind excuses are failures. Get rid of excuses, and you re-create yourself. I change my sentences from, “It isn’t my fault” to “It is my fault,” and I do something about it.
I've started keeping a list of all my excuses.
And I now attack one excuse every day.
and the hardest thing to do is Don’t complain. If I do, then I analyze it: If I can’t change it, accept it. If I can change it, get into action.
I have also started listing one complaint in a Log daily and decide an action I will take to change it.
I also start thinking about how fear holds me back, and move past it.
I have also decided I will not lie to myself. That is a personal rule. I also know it is not too late to change. I can control my life. I am responsible for my life. I have the power, the power to decide to change. By not lying to myself, I know I have things in my life I have to change. So today I started with not lying to myself about becaue I am so busy and active I do not have to do the extra exercises. By not lying to myself, I know I can no longer accept this behavior and I am going to change it right now. I will do all I can and use whatever help I need, but I am changing this, and that is the truth.
I now have a set bedtime too.
I do my nighttime routine getting ready for bed 30 minutes before bedtime.
I'll read for 15 minutes then I stop to think aobut my day and what I have been grateful for.
And my last thought before falling asleep: “Tomorrow, I am having a great day.”
Acentuate the POSITIVE!
“My intention is to be successful!”
