I too have started drinking healthier smoothies and what a notable benefit they have been after three weeks!
Mine consist of
2 Tbsps 100% Whey Protein; banana strawberry flavour
2 Tbsps Ground Flax seed
2 Tbsps Pshyllium Husks
1 Tbsp Chia seeds
2 Tbsps Wheat Germ
2000mg of wild salmon oil
12 whole almonds
and three single servings of fruit blended with 1 1/2 cups pure Cranberry juice! THis morning i used pineapple, strawberries and manderin orange slices
This is loaded with enzymes, fibre and Omega -3 fatty acids
It fills my blender! And I sip on it for as long as it takes me in the morning to have it all drank.
It has improved my elimination and helped reduce my dress size! I've taken my jeans in twice now! I've been losing inches!
For lunch I create a 12 vegetable cocktail; broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoe. carrot, red onion. Spinach, Romaine lettuce, avocado, celery, snow peas, green beans, Lima beans, in 12 ounces of water
and then for dinner I have my serving of fish or white chicken breast with 2 cups of steamed Asian or European mixed vegetables. This I do seven days a week only on Sundays I trade my chicken and fish in for a BBQued steak and baked potato.
This way I am having my fruits vegetables, carbs protein and fats' I eat my fruit in the morning because fruit is easiest digested so you don't want to be eating after carbs and protein because they take far longer to digest and your body will lose the benefits of the fruit because it will end up fermenting. Same with the vegetables!
That is why have this order of things.
Bonus I NEVER feel bloated, tired, or sluggish! Instead I have more energy!
And I never over eat. I have portion control and I'm consuming my adequate amount of calories per day.
I have minimal amount of physical exercise due to back issues right now so losing has been slower but I HAVE been losing; specifically my belly fat!
I have FINALLY found what works for me!
