I have been doing Chalean Extreme for the last couple months and found this very interesting today...

Completed ab burner and extreme abs today...and boy did it kick my butt!! I went to Mexico for 1 week then took 1 week off afterward and am now back into CE and am finding that even 2 weeks away pushes back my strength and endurance more than I thought.

I was going to complete my last week of push and start lean next week BUT I'm now thinking I'll complete 2 weeks of push before going to lean.

I see what the saying of 'use it or lose it' means....

The new year, the new me....

As I brought in the new year last night a lot of things went through my head as to what I wanted to achieve physically.... lets say I'm in a holding pattern but crave to do more.

I'm still 5'2", 127lbs, slim and agile...now I want more. I want the 'cut'. Not the buff babes that cover popular mags but my own version of cut. How to achieve that??? Well being an avid 'Jammer' I ordered Chalene Johnson's "ChaLEAN extreme" and am going to up my current weight regime. I also want to log into SP daily to track things (have really been out of the loop lately).

I'm ready to 'bring it'...now just have to put my money where my mouth is....

I've done so well over the last 1.5 years on Sparkpeople! I've lost just over 20lbs, have become 'fit' and toned. Yes, this all sounds good BUT since the end of August I have feeling like I'm falling off the wagon. I'm losing my food portion control, I exercise weekly BUT each time I do I have to force myself. I am trying to figure out what will give me my 'spark' back and motivation. All previous goals have been met.

I need to think of new goals...hhhmmmm, need to give it some thought and try to stick to my maintenance plan in the meantime.

Body fat %age

I've been a member of SP now for almost 13 months. I've gone from 140lb and 35% body fat to my current 124lbs for the last 4 months and holding steady.. Talk about a plateau....

Thought I was not making any progress until I started taking note of the body fat%. 4 months ago it was a solid 27% and now I've dropped to 22%. I even changed the batteries and used my neighbour's scale to confirm. Must be right! Since my weight doesn't seem to change, I'll focus more on a new goal of 18% body fat. I'm sooo pleased!

    hi. that is a awsome change on the body fat!! NICE job!! and hope all is well on the smoking quit!! I quit myself, last June. soo hard.. but so worth it! :)

Well, I did it...again!

For the third time...and hopefully the last time I've quit smoking again. Yeah, I know only about 12 hours into it, BUT still sticking with it. If I could go back in time and yank that first cigarette out of my mouth at age 13 I certainly would. Almost 21 years later I'm still struggling trying to rid myself of the habit.

I'm almost at my goal weight (4lbs off) so I guess I'll carry on with exercise as usual and leave more room to fall down on the nutrition side than rather smoke. Weight is something I'd rather struggle with than dead.
