Good Morning; I am up early. I am not sleeping well. My son came home this weekend with a reoccurring back injury which occurred to him in Iraq. The doctors there just gave him pain medication and did nothing else.
Knowing that my son is young, my husband and I had to tactfully try to convene to him to go to the doctors again. You need to be firm with them and do not take just medication for an injury. My DH said that it was very wise that he continues to seek help. We want him to have a x-ray. In Iraq the soldiers were told to soldier up. Therefore, they lost confidence in the medical system. We told my son you are really injured and in pain. My family call me Dr. Mom, I am pretty good at home spun medicine but this is way beyond what I have knowledge to fix.     Praying for your son. My younger brother has been to Iraq 3 times and is now hard of hearing. The Army says he is fine. Ha! Anyway I swam again today. emoticon

    Good for you, Moms can be a little irritating sometimes, (I am one) but keep it up, and do what it takes to get him to go to the doctor and have it checked out (fixed).
I was up pretty early myself, and I am just fixing to get some chicken out of the freezer and climb on my treadmill for at least 30 minutes, so have a great day, Hugs, Mary

    I'm sitting here with my cup of coffee, thinking about it, and it will happen, but not for 15 minutes or so, I am having a lazy morning and I like it. I've been real busy all week, so kind of kicking back for awhile.
My one little straggly peach tree put out a bumper crop this year, I made peach butter, peach preserves, peach cobbler and yesterday I put together enough for 5 more cobblers and froze it in bags, I have kept my arobics class and friends in peaches, and the birds got more than their share, so all in all, I am very thankful. I will get in my exercise today, and thank you for reminding us all. LIFE IS GOOD. Hugs, Mary

Good Morning; this morning is more hectic than I like in the morning. I like a peaceful morning where I can meditate and then exercise. i am also drinking peppermint tea. My stomach is a little off this morning which is very usual. I am going to exercise today but I think I will be a little easier on my myself today.     This is my day off from going to the gym. I plan on walking the dog this evening. I am so looking forward to spending quality time with my baby!!! She is a 70 lb yellow lab and I think the world of her. She takes me just as I am.

  Good morning! I got 30 minutes in on my treadmill this morning. If I do in the morning, it gets done; otherwise I will put it off and then am too tired, etc.

    Yes, definitely be easy on yourself, I got 30 minutes in on my treadmill, tht is it, I have aerobics class later today, and maybe swimming, so I will just aim for my 10,000 steps around the house. Have a gret weekend, and as always, Thanks for the incentive. emoticon Mary

good Morning; I just got home after running errands this morning. I am going to get my exercise out as soon as I post. I have been walking 2 miles per day. It seems like the only exercise that my knees can take. i love the dancing but I suffer after the classes. I hope all of you get a chance to get up and move today. Just a little at time can be beneficial to your health. It is going to get into 100's this weekend.     I got my 45 minutes in on my treadmill, that is going to be the extent of it for today, besides my bootcamp challenge, 10 mi8nutes and quite easy, also, I have been doing a 6 minute butt exercise (sparks video) so I will include that, these little videos are great. Hope your knees get to feeling better, I know me too, always a ache somewhere, mostly from my exercising, but if I didn't do it, I am sure I would be sorer. Hugs Mary

Good Morning; I am just relaxing and drinking my green tea. Just yesterday I got a big dent in my house. I am going to exercise right after this to get it over and start the deep clean. I made a list and do a little at the time or how much I feel like. I work with an audio book or a playlist that I like. Sometimes I will stop and dance to some good music.     I am off and running, well at least walking, I have some time in onmy treadmill, working on breakfast and then aerobics class and maybe swimming, but for sure I will get my steps in today, I too may do a bit of cleaning, lol, Mary

    Any movement counts. there is no rules. it can be just a little at 10 minutes per day at first. Some people can not do it daily, but it is the goal. Put on a pedometer and count your steps.
