here is todays cake. not as difficult as the car the other day, this one is purely fun..going to a cancer center for a couple of the nurses who share a birthday.

    That is sooooo cute! I was at a tasting last night for a local business/deli/food store and we got to share in some of their anniversary cake - they decorated it like the floor in the original building - it was cool!

well, i had to grocery shop esterday. i dont like ANY kind of shopping.

I woke up this morning to 6 am in the dark. a POX on daylight savings time spring ahead!!! first we LOSE an hour sleep, then we LOSE our snow, and then, to add insult to injury, its DARK again in the morning!! bah humbug.

but i digress. i got up. made maple oatmeal walnut scones. then blueberry scones. then baked a cake per an order. Cleaned. did the dishes. got my ice water and lunch ready for tomorrow. Katie stopped by to see me and get her scones.
and now..i have some relax time!! oh yeah..did my workout, too. pa!!id the bills.

    I think we used to spring ahead later in the season...I hate getting up in the dark, too! emoticon I'm feeling out of whack from the change already!

    Those of us who are morning folks hate the DST, I think. I agree about hating waking up in the dark. And losing that hour! Like you, though, my Sunday has been cooking, getting things done, relaxing. I don't like shopping, either. Today was great, though, because I was actually home all day! Wooohooo!

just got back from my pickups at the bakery. i have the entire rest of the day OFF!!! wheeee!!!
tomorrow i have cakes and scones to do..but for today....I'M FREE!!!!
