What a day. Nasty, rainy, cold. Been that way for 3 days so no outside walks BUT I met my exercise goals every day. Today i hurt . My knee isn't recovering from the replacement and quad repair well. Those who know me know before the surgery I was walking 2 hours a day. Since I'm lucky to do 2 miles. And not in one session, I have to do 3 or 4 short ones. So today, with the rain, I was at my wits end. Between pain, horrid weather, and some depression I wasn't going to do anything. But then I told myself I had to get my minimum steps. So I started marching. Around the downstairs . In place. I kept refreshing my spark tracker page. I got all but 400 steps done. And it just wasn't recoding it. Finally I took the tracker off and all the lights were lit. Why wasn't it showing on the tracker page? Lol the cat had unplugged the wifi...
But the thing is? I did 25 minutes. All. At. Once.
Yeah I know many might snort at that. Giggle about me being excited at 25 workout minutes all at once. But 5 months ago I was flat in bed. Not allowed to use my leg. Beginning of June I was using a walker. End of June crutches. There was a question of my ever walking unassisted. August I used a cane. Heck I still do sometimes . But today I walked for 25 minutes without stopping. Without assistance. And that's a miracle.
