Relapse! Oh no!

Thursday, February 07, 2013

After leaving the gym last night, I felt utterly depressed. I think that not eating healthy since...oh around Thanksgiving... caught up to me. All the hard work I have been putting in the gym has just gone towards buring off all the added crap I have put in my system instead of getting me closer towards my goal. I don't have anyone to blame but myself for eating badly. Sure it is easier when everyone around me eats healthy and works out, but I don't have close friends that do that. Still, that has never affected me before.

So today I put my foot down! I am going to start tracking everything that I put into my system again... I even started today :) I am going to get back to loving my workouts! I am going to kick my caffeine addiction again... Even started working on that today!

I feel 10 million times better when I eat right and workout furiously. My body doesn't need caffeine to stay alert, it just is naturally.

February 18th I start a 30 day Biggest Loser Type challange with my beach body coach, and I will be also starting P90X again that day... as well as Round 1 of my 1/2 Marathon training. I have just been putting that off again and again, but now it is only 6 months away so I have to get started!

I can relate so much To your post. It's crazy how we can have such good habits then fall back to our old ways. I started going down hill right before Christmas and still have not gotten my groove back. Good luck to you.

Way to go! Don't let the others influence what you need to do for yourself. You sound determined. Best of luck in your 30 day challenge.
