    Great Job Renee

That 10 lbs probably feels really good being off. I love Bubba needs a hug. So precious.

Keep up the good job. Sounds like you have the food all figured out for this super bowl. Good job that is the way to do it and be successful.

Hugs Colleen

Ate 2 eggs.........

Friday, February 05, 2010

I read somewhere you should start your morning off with 2 eggs.

My favorite breakfast now is:
2 egg omelet (with dash 1% milk, sauted onions & mushrooms) and 1 piece of 2% American cheese
1 slice of 7 grain toast
fresh fruit

It keeps me full till in the afternoon. I'll plan on eating a yogurt..maybe soup--something lite.

And for my late dinner, I'll have a Blue Cheese Chicken wrap!
The 1st time I'll be trying one! that kind anyway.
I'll spice up my chicken breast and cook it on my indoor grill;
slice in long strips
Have my whole grain warm tortilla filled with lettuce
Marie's Low Fat Blue Cheese salad dressing
Maybe a slice of 2% cheese
and 1 cup of fresh blueberries

If I was hungry right now, I'd probably be cooking the chicken!

Thursday progress............

Thursday, February 04, 2010

Started out with doing a 1 1/2 mile SUPER FAT BLASTING walk with Leslie Sansone.
Feeling good now.
And now I need to plan my snacking for SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!!!!!!
I know I'll be making HOT CHICKEN STRIPS for sure!!!
Chicken breasts cut in pieces and breaded and baked.

Think I'll make some pizza's with whole grain tortilla's, turkey pepperoni, low fat mozzerrella, mushrooms, onions & green bell peppers.
cheese crisp! tortilla with my Cabot 75% fat free Cheddar cheese (walmart-i always have this! I make taco's usually everyday for lunch!!) Then I'll need to make some fresh pico de gallo (salsa!) Good to eat with celery, carrot and bell pepper strips also!

some veggie strips with TOSTITO'S CREAMY SPINACH DIP-i love it! 50 calories/2T

then I'll need some "dessert" stuff...........
fruit with fruit dip. i'll have to search for a recipe/ yogurt, cream cheese, dry jello??? Just thinking outloud!
And of course, I'll need to count up all my calories to see how much stuff I can eat!!!!

WHO DAT!!!! I don't care who wins--I just watch for the commercials AND hope its a close game that goes into overtime!!! HA!

I've learned that I don't need to eat LOTS of any 1 type of food.
I make alot less now of EVERYTHING--that way, I eat less AND I'm full!
I don't want to overeat. I feel much better now!

There are only 2 people that I cook for. I now usually cook 3 servings (dinner). If we eat it all, that's fine but usually there's some left over for the next day!

Okay, the Saints have to win! I lived there during the paper bag era (yes I am truly dating myself). My son was born at the height of Saints badness. I have not lived there for years but will always love the city where I had my children.

Good for you for planning out your food choices. Take it easy, don't stress it too much!

If you plan your food in advance you'll have the fun without the pain. Good for you. I am being treated to the movies on Tuesday next week and also start by planning something I can take with that doesn't upset the apple cart aka scale emoticon

I just weighed myself and lost 10 lb. since Jan. 03rd! YAHOOOOOO!!

I'm not going to weigh myself every week anymore. I could tell I lost from my spare tire!
It went down and got firmer!!!

    emoticonThat is absolutely fantastic!
I weigh myself once a week and get so frustrated when the numbers don't move!
Keep doing what you're doing because it is definitely working!
Stay positive,
