Day 8: Goal 4 #RockYourResolutions

Monday, January 20, 2014

Hello emoticon

My last goal for this year is to focus on my career. I have had my current job for 8 years and its not for me anymore. I have tried and tried to find new positions, but its been a challenge for me. After looking for new work for so long I go back to being comfortable in an uncomfortable position. I graduated college in 2011 and have not found anything since. Not only that but what I went to college for I don't want to do as a career. My career goal is to be a business owner/event coordinator. So this year I plan to research, volunteer, and hopefully get a job to earn experience in event coordinator. In the meantime I will set small goals for researching.

In my next blog I will post all goals I'm currently focusing on emoticon

Sorry for the late response (and I think you're on vacation now) it's been a crazy week for me.

You and me both, I'm trying to work my way from an entry level job that drives me crazy to a job that I enjoy at least 70% of the time. Here's good luck to us both!

Day 4: Goal #3 #RockYourResolutions

emoticon HAPPINESS emoticon

Is the third goal I will be focusing on this year. I've been so focused and worried about my health and other issues that I forgot about my sanity. Happiness is apart of our mental stability. I want to set small consistent goals that focus on stress control, fun, happiness, etc.

I will be doing more research so that I can start setting my goals. Sparkpeople has a ton of information on mental wellness and happiness. Happiness doe not start once I lose this weight or once I conceive a child for the first time. Happiness start now and it's up to me to be happy and healthy no one else.

As I've said in my recent blogs I will be listing one goal from each area to keep track of stay tuned!

Day 3: Goal #2 #RockYourResolutions

Hello emoticon

emoticon Goal #2:

As I mentioned my top resolution (goal) for 2014 is consistency. I've incorporated areas in my life where I want to be consistent this year. I've always been a yo-yo instead of going steady on my goals. Health is a priority before all. If you don't take care of you who will.

My health goal is to stay consistent with fitness, mental health (lower stress and have fun), take control of my pcos, practice healthy habits (eating, less drinking, etc). These are things I want to monitor year round and forever, but I must set small achievable goals to do that.

I will outline my health goals as I set them. My first health goal:

3 months of fitness without stopping
at least 3 times per week
at leaset 15mins

Day 2: Goal 1 #RockYourResolutions

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

Hello emoticon

In the next few blogs I will be explaining my goals for the year that I have thought about. Most of my goals all tie in together with each other and this is what I've decided to do for my overall health.

In the past I was never able to stick with anything I said I would do. So my goal is to choose an area in my life and set a short/long term goal for consistency.

1. Practice healthy habits
2. Fitness
3. Happiness/Fun
4. Career moves

Wish me luck emoticon

Good luck. It's also totally okay to go a little at a time. Say, work on getting your healthy food choices and willpower under control for two weeks. Once that's a habit, add in exercise and make it a habit. :0)

You can do this!
