The good, the bad, and the ugly

On this journey I'm willing to share my ups and downs with my sparkfriends becuase I'm not perfect nor am I ashamed. This is a ongoing battle for me and a learning process and I tend to be open about my eating struggles and lack of motivaton. All I ask for is that my sparkfriends continue to be my support system.

Spring Time Fine Challenge

emoticon Challenge will begin May 5th if you miss the first day don't worry this will be an ongoing challenge.

1. Take a before picture of yourself you don't have to share it with the team, but if you like to please post the picture in a blog.

2.NO WEIGH-IN REQUIRED...I repeat no weigh-in required for this challenge! You may way yourself once at the beginning of this challenge and once at the end. Hide your scales....hide your scales. This challenge will focus on habits not the scale.

3. Fitness 6 time per week 15 - 60 minutes and include strength at least 3 of those days 15- 30 minutes

4. ACCOUNTABILITY!!! We need to stay in touch here at least 3 times per week. This challenge is strictly for those ready to put them 1st no excuses. To keep intouch you can come here post your accomplishments, post on instagram ( ) if you don't have an account try creating one it will be fun, blogs, facebook, etc But this is a priority and the most important of the challenge.

Also anyone on instagram or facebook like to keep intouch for motivation please post your name on the message board for this challenge or send me a sparkmessage

5. NO FAST FOOD, ALCOHOL, OR SUGAR (Limit as much as possible) I know life happens and so does slip-ups but keep pushing and keep your eye on the prize. Research natural sugars like those from fruit, but limit them as well.

6. Drink plenty water everyday, take vitamins and medications, eat plenty veggies (non starch)

7. HAVE FUN!!! Try new things weekly: meal prepping, infused water, pintrest ideas, try youtube, exercise, recipe, fitness class, hobby, book, hot tea, movie etc.

A milestone I accomplished!!!!

emoticon I feel strong today and I accomplished a major milestone and I want to celebrate emoticon

Yesterday was the first day in a loooong time and I mean a looong time I was able to eat clean the entire day!!! I'm tremendously proud of myself and it was a challenge but I accomplished my goal.

Just a little history about my eating problem and why this is such a huge deal for me:

1. PCOS--- increased appetite and cravings
2. Sugar addict--can eat a whole bag of anything sweet at times depending on my mood
3. Emotional eater --this is still a struggle put I will be planning ahead of time
4. Binge eating disorder

emoticonAll of these things are still a struggle for me and once again I want to celebrate the milestone I accomplished yesterday, and I plan to accomplish many more by taking it one day at a time!

So lets celebrate to no binge emoticon
Lets celebrate to no huge amounts of sugar emoticon
And lets celebrate to me accomplishing my goal took a long time to get here emoticon

Btw I need all the support I can get this is no easy battle but it is possible!
