Well the docs said give it a month b4 I do any UB ST, but I've been tentatively trying some core exercises- crunches, reverse crunches, roll outs and back extensions (all with a ball and all gently) and I've been fine and dandy.
Friday I tried some bicep curls and tricep dips on ball and today addded some forward lifts for the front of shoulder/pec muscles with light dumb bells.
It felt .
I've been walking loads and although enjoyable I really needed a sweat and I got that yesterday with an hour on the bike, managed 20 k so I was well chuffed.
It seems that rest in hospital and the past two weeks have done little damage to my performance might even have enhanced it as I feel . A lesson there maybe- don't need to go hammer and tongs so much
I'm not chancing chest exercises til I get the all clear on March 1st- but I'm making progress.
My ST is taking about 50 mins at the mo and that feels about right. Did a bit of everything this morning and had a walk, now we're over to see Pete's ole fella so I'd best go.
