Well... managed 6 hours of gardening yesterday and got loads done. Still sunny again today but we have the food shop to get and we're going out tonight for a Reggae Evening and fish supper. Looking forward to it! The weather forecast is for more sun over the weekend so I shall continue in the garden.
why doe's he argue the toss with me over EVERYTHING!
So yesterday the local Honda dealer phoned to arrange collection of our car today for service, MOT, spit and polish and I heard DH say" you're kidding I'm not up THAT earlier"
SO I knew it was before 8am and I also knew as I am normally up really early I'd be asked to hand the keys over!!
" will you be up at 7.40"
" you know I will"
"Honda are coming then........can you be up and dressed to hand over "V" (that's our car's name the other is "the mistress").
so last night, just to be sure, I was up I set my alarm for 7- I was knackered from gardening all day and thought I might carry on sleeping unintentionally....as you do.
"Why are you setting the alarm"
" V is being collected at 7.40 remember?"
" you said 7.40, I remember coz you asked if I'd be up early"
" No you've got it wrong........20 PAST 8 not 20 TO 8"
"I'll set the alarm anyway" - muttered some expletives to myself and tried to get to sleep, miffed coz I KNEW I was right but there is was no point pushing the issue. He was adamant!
And what time did the driver call today????????????
Oh he makes me mad at times
I said to the driver I wish I'd had a fiver for a bet and told him of the conversation.
" I know............................... my wife is always right too!""""
The garden beckons today, it's 7.2 degrees already and the sun is so bright!!!. It should get to 12 later with a bit of luck. Short sleeve top for the first time
I am definitely Solar Powered (as well as having my personal power pack from my op LOL), when the sun is out I shine!! Loads to do out there and I'm sure I'll be interrupted by neighbours stopping for chats (so friendly up here). I'm in for a very lovely day!!!
Itís been glorious here today! I got 2 hours gardening done- and all I have to show for it is edge-trimmed lawns (all three) and a few weeds pulled.
I was reading a gardening calendar that says March is a good time to weed and feed the lawns(we didnít bother much in the old place but here I want lush greenery to be proud of) and with a promise of good weather tomorrow and Thursday Iíll get the rake to them and get the moss out and get some more weeding done.
Iím enjoying the challenge of 3 garden areas to the one and a bit in Harlington. Man itís going to keep me fit!! Or kill me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*note to self--- check ďwillĒ up to date* hahaha
Wellllyyy time to get dinner on the go and feed that hunk of mine *I heard that snigger*
Speak tomorrow, if the weather turns nasty, otherwise forgive meÖÖIíll be making the most of it while I canÖÖ.itís set to change on Friday!
I'm back already from having my botox for dystonia.
At least this time the doc did the injections as I am used to (over many years)! Last time he changed one and boy could I feel the difference. Glad he could bring up the protocol from my previous hospital to copy, although I'd had the mind to take a copy with me from my doctor's letter. So all is well and I should be fine now for another 3 months.
It is like Spring out there right now, so lunch then some serious gardening, hoping the ground is not still heavy from rain I can get a fork into it.
