Ok so i know im a little behind in my trail blogs been a little busy . We walked the hillfield trail back on July.26,2011. In the description it was said to be one of the most scenic rainbow routes and indeed it was. I think to date this has been my favourite trail. It was said to be of moderate level and at times it was a challenge but one that i was up for. I ll let the photos speak for the rest.

Bell Grove Hike

Well tonight we went another one of our hiking trails. it was listed as a moderate trail and while there were a few parts that required a little more effort i was actually a little disappointed that it wasnt a little more challenging like some of the others.All in all though i was working up a sweat and thats all that matters and iwas burnign those calories. My feet really hurt today partly due to the big spilt i have on the bottom of my foot and then just general aching because i did lots of walking and shopping today . My feet have been swollen for days so i even took a picture to show you just how swelled they . hahaha im sure its just wanted you wanted to see ......RIGHT??? Anyways hope you like the pictures wasnt too many exciting things to take pictures of however my friend managed to take 93 photos of the hike. now dont worry im not going to include them all lol. Hmmmmm they said the trail was moderate level but i didnt realize it involved climbing trees lol">

    Wow to my awesome family..another great hike. You all are doing so good and i am sure lots of calories were burned. Take care of those feet. I love the one picture of you by yourself. i need that one. When sitting around house try to keep them elevated...Love you

We went and hiked around bethel Lake yesterday and it turns out its actually part of the trans Canada trail not really the rainbow routes but still a hike worth doing. The beggining part of the trail wasnt too bad but then we came to a rock cliff and we we re goign to attempt to climb but after checking it out further we deemed to not be safe enough for us specially with our 10 year old daughter. We did attempt it though and i when i had to come down once we realized we could go up the rock cliff its self coming down i was scared out of my mind i ll let the pictures do the talking. We did find another way up that was a safer way although it was still a climb for someone of my size. I felt hot and tired beyond belief and some parts i kinda crawled up as i was starting to feel too tired and stumbling along the way. So glad we did it though the view was incredible. What an accomplisment. My husband was so supportive and cheering me on all the way to the top. This picture kinda made me laugh looks like im strutting my stuff lol Thats a picture of the cliff on the other side that we climbed later on didn't like this part too much

Blueberry hill hike

I know im a couples days behind in posting my hiking blogs . These pictures are from the climb up blueberry hill. The view was amazing up there. Beginning at 270 metres above sea level, the gradual climb is actually 46 vertical metres.Some of the pictures i wasnt sure if i was going to post as they dont show my best side but they serve a purpose . They remind me just how UN fit i am but it also reminds me of what i have accomplished. Its also lets others know that with a little determination and perserverance you can reach your goals . There are a few pictures too of some of the beauty i encountered along the way as well (Mary i bet you ll like them)

For me learning what weight lose and a healthy lifestyle are all about is important. To me knowledge is power, the more you know the better equipped you will be to face challenges when they may arise . I first learned this when i quit smoking. I had to inform my self of the risks and what the damage would be if didn't stop smoking, i had to equipped myself with the tools and the right support system in order to be successful. In order to be successful in meeting my weight lose goals i too have to educate myself ,make sure i have the tools to be successful and have a support system . When i first came to sparks i thought i had everything in place. I had the knowledge(well some anyways) and what i didn't know i would soon learn through sparkpeople, i had the tools and i had friends and family and of course Sparkpeople to support me through my journey. Everything was in place so forward i went. I lost constantly week after week and it seemed so easy for me but then one day i got hit with alot of stress and then that's when it all went down hill. I started to eat to comfort myself and things spiralled downwards from there. I lost my motivation and managed to put back on most of the weight. Even coming to sparks became a sporadic thing for me. One day i sat there and thought what went wrong how could i be so successful month after month and then all of a sudden that all changed. Well its because i had everything except for one key component. The mind set and attitude to be successful. To me losing weight isn't just about calories in versus calories out and getting in that intentional exercise. Its about keeping your drive and motivation in motion. To do that you need to stay focused and have the right attitude. You not only have to change what you eat but how you think about food and yourself.

You have to believe in yourself and your abilities to be successful , as the saying goes "YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE TO ACHIEVE"

You have to believe your worthy of it. Always remember "YOUR WORTH IT" each and everyone of us are worth the effort.

You have to trust the process. even when the scales numbers don't go down you need to keep moving forward . Never giving up.

You need to have a "CAN DO APPROACH"

You have to embrace the journey, set goals for today , this week or this month and not be so focused on the finish line. The journey can be the most rewarding part of the whole process when we can learn about ourselves .Have fun along the way. Live a little, laugh alot and love much

AND MOST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO LOVE YOURSELF ENOUGH TO DO IT. Remember its not just about a balanced meal plan and some intentional exercise its also about having that CAN DO IT ATTITUDE that will take you to that place you want to be.

    Taht is so awesome..I really believe you are back on track and just like to did it a couple years ago you will do it again and this time you will win. i know it can be a struggle at time but remember you have so much support from friends, family, and spark team.
