I am so excited that the weather has finally changed because now I can get back into my running and walking. I love running 2 miles early in the morning because it will help start my day on a wonderful note. We have been dealing with the winter and cold weather for quite some time. I also see that we are expecting some more snow on Tuesday but I'm not going to let the ruin my walk or run. I am pushing to get in at least 10 miles a week of walking/running. The time changed has also helped a lot so I will be able to walk in the evenings as well.

Season of the Beast Challenge

The challenge this week was to go for a walk and blog about it. I took a 3 mile walk within my neighborhood and it was wonderful. Normally I just walk and listen to my music but I really observed the scenery during my walk. I took several pictures to show you guys how lovely my walk was.

    Wow, beautiful!! peaceful it seems too! I LOVE getting outside for my walks, but I have been doing them inside. Today, I walk my daughter to her school! That is 1 mile one way! emoticon

Biggest Loser Summer Challenge Week 15

This week Biggest Loser Challenge was to find three uplifting words this week.

The first word that I focused on was positive. We are going through quite a bit of change at work the last couple of months and to stay positive has definitely been a challenge. Each morning I wake up and I say that I will be positive today. Of course that’s easier said then done. But today I will say that I was more positive than I have been throughout this entire change.

The second word I focused on was encourage. This challenge has been a struggle for me and I felt that I needed some encouragement to stay focused. Each morning I wake up and say it will be a better day. I feel a lot better now then I did when the challenge began.

The last word I focused on was Prayer. I decided that I will incorporate more prayer into my life. I used to pray everyday but then I let it slip away. I have been focusing on prayer a lot more and I have to say it is definitely helping with a lot of things in my life.

Springing into Action Week 13

These are my six things I focused on this week:

Eat Sensibly – I really focused on this over the last week because during the past couple of weeks I had quite of bit of stress which caused me to fall off track. I realize that eating sensibly will help with reaching my goal.

Quiet Your Spirit Routinely – I believe meditating each morning before starting my day does help a lot. This past week I have focused on this and it helped to avoid the stress. I also kept a journal all week and focused on writing everything I did each day this week. I was surprised to see that I was able to get a lot done.

Exercise Regularly – I usually try to exercise everyday with some form of exercise. I decided to try a body pump class this morning after being away from it since November. It felt great and my body loved it.

Acceptance / Love Yourself – I am taking time out to love myself by either getting my hair done and I made an appointment to get my pedicure and manicure within the next two weeks.

Challenge Your Mind – I have decided to step up my plan and challenge myself to try new things at work. I have always stayed in my comfort zone but I am now willing to try something challenging.

Emotional Well Being / Support – I have always wanted to find my more creative side. I have decided to try my creative side and I’m finding that there are so many things I like and I will focus on really doing those things that make me happy.
