In other news: I need to restart C25K I think, but I now have a tracker-thingy on my mobile phone that will tell me how far I've gone and all so it's okay, really.
Also, I really need to get a proper camera so that I don't need to work with this somewhat unflattering angle...

I am so glad the reactions to my vlog were undividedly positive. I was very nervous at the thought of people poking fun at me because of my accent - I don't think my accent is all that thick, but I have had people make fun of me because mine was not exactly like theirs. (And they also claimed they did not HAVE an accent - uh, fail. Accent = pronounciation. In other words, if you speak, you have an accent. /rant) Who knows, I might do it again! It certainly took a lot less time than writing one out.
Work on Monday and Wednesday was insanely busy, but today is calm, which is why I am blogging instead of working. (Do not get the wrong idea; I have finished my to-do list for today.)
This week I ran three days in a row, and I am going to avoid doing that ever again if I can. Running two days in a row was okay; running three days in a row was murder. My legs were begging for mercy through every single interval...and do you know what they did when we were all done and were headed home? They ran. Seriously, I have no idea what they were thinking. Perhaps it was the trail that whispered to them, 'you usually run this stretch...' in such a seductive manner that they could not resist?
Weight-wise I have dropped another kilo - taking me into the 150's! I am very pleased with that. I have also lost three cm over my hips since my last measurement, but my waist is not following suit. Well, I guess that means my big backside is shrinking, right? And I am still withing a healthy hip/waist-ratio. I think I am losing a little too fast though; it has only been five days since my last weigh-in. I decided to weigh-in early because of the trip I am taking this weekend.
In other news, I am back on the BCP. Here is to hoping I will not gain a lot of weight on it; I am not sure I did last time, but we will see.

I'm so tired I could cry. It hasn't been a bad day by any means, but busy, and my colleagues seemed a little stressed, which rubs off on me. In additon, I'm worried about a friend. I'll see him this weekend, though - we have a cupcake/strawberries dipped in chocolate/massage/movie night planned. Meow.
Anyway, I have lost 11 kg since I re-started Sparks at the beginning of this year. I was pretty surprised when I checked my weight this morning, but okay, I'll take it. Now I just have to be careful not to self-sabotage again - whenever I hit a new lowest weight, I tend to go insane. I don't know why. Self-sabotage indeed. (The fact that I have cinnamon swirls sitting in the oven right now has nothing to do with this - they are for my boyfriend who is working late!)
It'll be another busy day at work. I seldom sit down to eat lunch - there is simply too much to do, so I have my diet bar (easy to carry, portion control, tasty, doesn't crumble, easy to re-wrap and toss in my bag if I need to go quickly) whilst working - making a memorial book, cleaning up the church, sitting in the car... I try to be mindful when I eat it, though. But mindful eating without doing anything else - like talk to someone, work, or watch something - is so boring I actually eat faster just to get it done with. (I savour my treats though.)
Tomorrow will see me embark on the third week of C25K. I will have to run two days in row to make up for my weekend trip, but I think I'll be okay.
