Coming and going

It seems like I come and go from here. It's been a long time since I've logged on. The weather here has been snowy and icy so that sometimes puts a damper on my exercising. I have been managing to go to the gym every Saturday for the last couple of months and now I can go Sundays because they have started offering childcare on Sundays. I'm happy to see the scale go down some. I had a doctor's appointment in October and weighed in at 246, ugh, and I knew I had a followup appt. in January and my goal was to weigh less at that January appt. Went to the appt. last month and weight in at 241 so I was happy.

Beautiful Day!!

Today was a beautiful Fall day. Got up early and headed out with my daughter. After running some errands we went to the park and played a little bit. Came home later in the day and did gardening, cleaned out the summer garden bed, and planted a bunch of flowers for the Fall. Did a little heavy lifting with bags of garden soil, a lot of bending, and a lot of walking. I hope to be able to get a walk in tomorrow while my daughter rides her bike.

Trying to get back on track.

Finding time to exercise on the weekends seems to be pretty easy. Got in 2 20-30 minute walks on Saturday and Sunday while my daughter rose her bike. Did a little bit of vigorous playing with her at the park. Now what to do about weekdays. We are so busy and tired in the evenings now that she hasstarted school. Much of my evening is taken up with her and then with getting ready for the next day. I will have to see what iI can fit in. Happy Monday everyone!

I'm missing

I've been missing for awhile. Took a short vacation, got the kid in school, and here I am. Went to the doctor's the other day for an appt. got on the scale and........ugh. I return in 1 month and I hope the scale has gone down some.

I am feeling stressed out for no good reason and it has kind of immobilized me. It is hot and muggy here and except for the past day or two it has rained a lot. I have a lot of things to do/take care of in the next month or so and I think just the thought of having to plan for and do those things is making me stressed now. Ugh.

    Same here in west Texas, rain all week, no tennis or walking, too much pizza and roadhouse. That's stressing my waist line!
